Stayed here while attending the ESRI conference. Room was clean and comfortable. Although they put me in a room right next to the highway, the traffic noise was tolerable. TV was old and the screen was scratched, but I didn't really use it that much. Tram stop was not too far. No complaints, but this is not more than a... more

The reservation desk booked us at the Marina instead of the Pacific Inn as we requested. After that got straightened out we got to our room and was quite shocked at how nice it was. It had a King size bed, fridge with water, coffee maker, it was very clean inside and out. The room gets 4 stars but the... more

We were in town for ComiCon. Given that the Marina Inn had a 1&1/2 star rating my expectations were low. But the rate was good for a busy convention week. At first glance one can easily see the building as a once seedy highway motel. But now the exterior is clean and bright. I was surprised to see the rooms... more

I had an Excellent experience staying at the Marina Inn & Suites in San Diego. The Office staff was extremely helpful, and the room was clean , fairly new, and cleaned very well every day. The motel was so convienent to so many attractions and I am looking forward to returning next summer for another vacation. more

Good stay for the price! Great deal for students or people who don't have a lot of money to spend on the hotel. Our room was clean (and with refrigerator) and the staff was friendly. The location (Little Italy quarter) was very good for a lot of attractions (Gaslamp and Little Italy quarters, Seaport Village, ocean) and with easy access... more

On 10/22/07 we reserved a room via hotel.com at the Marina Inn, Pacific Hwy, San Diego, CA. when we were evacuated during the San Diego fires. That motel has the same owner, Vicky Patel, who owns the Vagabond Inn at Hotel Circle S, Mission Valley, San Diego, CA. This complaint involves both motels (See Vagabond Inn Mission Valley San Diego... more

Coming to San Diego for the first time, our stay at the Marina Inn was as pleasurable as the first night at the Holiday Inn Express, but only less expensive and a better view. If you are like me I enjoy the simple things in life, and the Marina Inn was very simple and cozy. The best part was the... more

Needing a place to stay the night before our 10 day cruise, at first I thought my wife made a mistake booking us in this hotel...as we approached, I saw it is located on a busy corner, two blocks from the freeway, one block from the train tracks, across the street from a gas station...., in other words, lots of... more

I would not stay here again. The noise of the planes, trains, traffic, etc did not bother me, as I have stayed at other motels in this location before and was aware of that. The problems: at first they couldn't find the reservation. Then they tell you you can come at noon, then when you do, it's a huge deal... more
