Travelled from Oz. Michael at reception very helpful and full of useful information. I drove and parking could get crowded some nights but looks like you can park at another hotel parking few blocks away. Talk to the reception first. Convenient, couple of 711s nearby, beautiful sunset. Few downsides: Noise from the road, next door or parking Low shower door,... More

The members of staff went out of their way to make sure I was accommodated in any way necessary during my stay. Great view out into the Marina, along with great restaurants and night life within walking distance. I would highly recommend anyone to Marina Inn and Suites. Great stay!

The Marina Inn has a great location -two blocks to Little Italy, one block to the waterfront, affordable cab ride to Gas Lamp, USS Midway, etc. It's just south of the the airport flight path, but the sound inside rooms is barely noticeable. Same is true of the railroad tracks, which are 1/2 block away: the sound can be heard, but it's... More

We were in San Diego for the graduation of our grandson from the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. This hotel is very close to the MCRD, and very reasonsbly priced for San Diego. Also close to many tourist attractions - the Star of India, the Lexington aircraft carrier, Big Bay tours, Old Town, etc., etc. Room was basic, clean, and remarkably... More

Clean rooms nice view and Mike at the front desk was very curious and professional. The area is safe and near family attractions. The star od India is near by. King Tuts exibit is near by. The Aircraft carrier Midway is near by. The Gas Lamp district is within walking distance.

If you want to stay in the centre of everything but still away from all the noise, this is the perfect place. The rooms are clean, the wifi is good and you have all the service that you need. I would say most value for money.

Hotel was clean and staff was very nice. Room was clean but a little dated. Room felt a little small but the view was great of the harbor. Hotel was in great location easy to find and close to a lot of restaurants. Would definitely stay here agin.

All in all, a pretty good motel. Location is excellent walking to Little Italy and downtown. Right by light rail. Clean although some parts a little dated. No breakfast but the Waterfront Bar and Grill is only two blocks and their breakfasts are great. Motel on a busy street so can be noisy. Parking lot is VERY small

The room they shoved us into was back in the corner next to the maid service where the women were constantly yelling in Spanish. Very loud. There were large stains all over the floor and the door locks were a joke...the bolt was so loose it could have easily come off with little effort. The view from our very small... More

Stayed here for 4 nights to do some sightseeing, and chose this hotel based on the price and location. Most other hotels near downtown were priced much higher, so I think this one was a really good value. It is an older smaller hotel, but it met our basic needs. The room was a little small with no view to... More
