My Fiance and I are in our 20's and locals and decided to redeem our Stash points for a 1 night stay for our anniversary. The hotel is beautiful, but parking is practically non-existent, as almost all parking is in the Gas Lamp in San Diego, but here you have no choice but to valet for $30+tip. Check in was... More

Great location, about 6 blocks to the convention center, from room to inside Convention Center was about a 10 minute walk. The hotel is in the center of the district but a block to the side. The room was really nice, the staff were friendly and internet was spotty at best (only negative), Stayed for a week and had class... More

booked this based on low price, great location in the gas lamp district, and good reviews and we were not dissapointed. room was not huge but very comfortable and plenty of room, we were not on the street side but right behind the big staircase. you could hear noise from the bar but really i thought it was more quiet... The best part of my stay was Ken, the concierge who helped me with booking a room. He was extremely informative, and never pressured me for my business. He even helped my wife and I decide on dinner a couple nights! His helpfulness on the phone was actually the reason I decided on this particular hotel, and the reason I'll... More

We had a wonderful visit. Four block from Petco Park and plenty of great restaurants in the Gas Lamp District. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed except for a fridge. Try not to stay on the side that Fluxx Bionic is located on. It is a dance club and loud. Other than that, no problems. Staff... More

We stayed for one night in a King, fireplace, balcony room and had a great time. The service from Ken and Nancy was particularly helpful, and the outside patio and dining area was great! Staying on the 4th floor, I think we were lucky to have a newly remodeled room. One caveat being the shower was a bit standard in... More

Very professional and welcoming staff. The hotel is undergoing renovations which we weren't aware of. The rooms are small but the fireplace gives them a nice romantic touch. Not my kind of hotel but it did the job for the one night that we spent there. I feel like this hotel would be nice for older couples since it was... More

We truly appreciate your comments in regards to our wonderful staff. We are very excited to showcase the new updates here on property but understand at the same time that that can certainly be an inconvenience while taking place. This process has nearly finished and we sincerely thank you for all the feedback. More

The hotel is just beautiful...even during the renovations. The staff were professional...front desk, maintenance & housekeeping! (Yep...I spoke to all of them!) The room was beautiful and very comfortable. The courtyard was my favorite place in the hotel! I will stay at the Horton again when I return to San Diego.

Some renovations going on but really nice staff. Rooms were small but really clean and we'll appointed. Small gas fire places made the room seem cozy. Saw other rooms as well that friends stayed in and they had small balconies. Best location in Gaslamp. Easy access to everything. No car needed.

the hotel is located in the gaslamp quarter, and for me was perfect beacause I was there for a conference at the convention center (only 3 blocks). The room is old style, there is the need to renovate the bathroom (very old) and the room too even with electricity (the modern traveller needs to recharge more than 1 device..). So... More
