Stayed four nights for a conference at the convention center. It is an easy 10 minute walk to the convention center and Coronado ferry landing and to countless restaurants and shops in the Gaslamp Quarter. This is a historic hotel so the rooms are a bit small and cramped but the price difference compared to the hotels at the convention... More

We had driven from LV and decided to go with the valet parking offered by the hotel rather than finding our own. This was a pretty decent service, and for $30 p/n, it was actually cheaper than other hotels in the area (eg. Marriott $40 p/n). You can ask for your car anytime and as often as you like. So... This was one of the lower-priced options for a conference. The hotel had done a nice job maintaining the historic ambiance, although clearly it showed its age. The room was well-appointed and quiet, despite being just up the stairs from the hotel bar. Importantly, the doors locked securely. There were a lot of nearby restaurants and shops and it was... Stayed here 3 nights for a conference. Looked it up before I booked because it was pretty expensive. The lobbies and exterior were precious but the rooms could use a little work. Pros: -staff is very helpful and accommodating -great location within walking distance of the convention center -common areas very antique but well kept and clean Cons: -rooms are... More

I was staying at this hotel for 3 nights while in town for a conference. I am not a picky person when travelling but this hotel really was horrible- especially for the price you have to pay- it might as well been a motel. The first night I stayed in a room where the wifi didn't work- it was across... More

We stay at the hotel for 4 nights. On the last day they were nice to give a late check out as our flight did not leave until 1800.Nice hotel we were at a conference at the convention centre which was a 7 mins walk. This place is close to everything. We walked to all over the Gas light district.... More

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I stayed here for a conference. 1) LOUD. Stayed two floors and down the hallway from the bar with live music. Unless you have headphones you won't be able to hear yourself think. It was worst on Friday and Saturday evenings. Sunday a little bit and then did not... More

Stayed for 3 nights in August. The hotel is in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter and within steps of all the good restaurants and bars. While the hotel is on the older side, it is very quaint and charming with an antique flare. There were renovations going on during our stay, but did not affect us at all. The... More

This hotel was a lot of fun. It is designed to feel very European and has interesting decor throughout. The location is great, for the most part. Right near all of the Gaslamp Quarter bars and restaurants. That can be an issue, though. There is a nightclub directly across the street. Be sure to ask for an interior room, because... More

Loved the elegance and old world charm of this hotel. It reminded me of the glamour of Downton Abbey, except the hotel is Victorian in style! We only stayed one night but would have happily stayed longer. The location is perfect, seconds walk to the cafés, restaurants, bars and shops of the gaslamp district. Room was spacious with a king... More
