Upon checked in, they gave us a traditional room wth a parking lot view even though we paid for a water view room through an online third party service. My spouse called CS then eventually went to the front desk & spoke with a manager. After an hour of "this & that," they transferred us to a different tower, and... More

I stayed here for two nights on a business trip and it was great. I was in meetings around town/ out of town all day, and the hotel was an oasis of calm at the beginning and end of the day. It is also easy to get to the main autoroutes, so great if you are out on the road.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in August, and I have to say it's a nice hotel. Our room was on the 10th Floor in the Marina Tower overlooking the Bay/Marina/Pool. Every room has a balcony. The other side of the Marina Tower faces the parking lot/downtown. If you're not on a high floor you will not have any view... More

We got a great rate for this hotel and stayed for 3 nights (August 9-12). We had a low floor room with a partial view of the pool. We initially started with a room facing the parking lot but after a quick stop at the desk, we were transferred on the other side with the pool view. The staff is... More

I used Priceline for two nights in San Diego at two different hotels. Got both for around $70, one at Hilton Gaslamp (which was GREAT) and one here. First, it has been noted in the reviews that they treat Priceline/Hotwire customers differently. I also found this to be true -- and I think it is a silly way to do... More

The American Society of Civil Engineers Pipeline Division annual meeting is being held here (since Saturday.) 527 registrants. Fire alarm and evacuation yesterday am about 10:00 am, all meeting rooms evacuated, scared hotel guests, etc. Then the fire alarm went off at 4:10 am this am (Tuesday 18th), about the time we had some clothes on they anounced "we have... rude housekeeping, parking and internet services too expensive and cannot even use mini bar or move things without being charge. Took 2hrs to have someone to talk too regarding bill dispute. would not recommend to family with younger kids.

We spent only one night nut it was enough to say that it's a very nice hotel...The hall and the rooms are very elegant, although not roomy. Increible sightseeing, on one side there is the bay and on the other side the ocean. There is a nice outdoor swimming pool and internet point in the hall. The location is a good... More

8/1/09-8/4/09 Pros: The location was beautiful, nice pool, walk along the marina, clean room... Cons: Construction, Elevator broken all 3 days, No free kids TV channels. $22/nite to park. Some staff was rude to my wife. Even at the hotwire price of $105, I wouldn't stay there again.

My husband and I stayed at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina for three weeknights in July. We had an awesome experience but only after we did some tweaking of our room location. We booked through Hotwire at a rate of $114 and upon arriving at the Marina Tower (there are two towers - the Marina and the Bay... More
