We stayed here on spring break and also right after the kids got out of school - so two trips within a few months. The rooms are nice - we really enjoy having a suite with the kids - it makes a big difference when you stay somewhere for a week like we did both trips. Housekeeping staff was extremely... more

The hotel itself was nice however it did not offer any of the things a nicer hotel should. There was not continential breakfast, parking is extremely expensive, and you have to pay high dollar for any extras. The lobby was placed in an akward place where you had to switch elevators. It wasn't the stay we were expecting. more

It seems like most of the strongly positive reviews of this hotel are from people who booked very low rates on Priceline. On its own merits, as a 3.5* hotel, this property did not match my expectations compared to other hotels of that class. At a deeply discounted Priceline rate, however, it was a good value. There were several questionable... more

1) This hotel is a bit outdated. The bathrooms have are outdated. There is a separate shower and bath and the shower has tiles that look like they are from the 70's. Wallpaper in room old looking/outdated. 2) VERY small for a suite. Basically just a room chopped in 1/2, maybe with a few extra square feet. 3) It is... more

We stayed for one night in March. I was very impressed. The hotel was maybe like 15 minute drive. It was easy to find. Its by the freeway exit. We took 5 minute cab ride to Gas Lamp district. Staff was friendly. Room was a bit small but liked the fact that the living room is seperate from the bedroom.... more

I admit it's a bit odd to check into a hotel on the twelth floor but my room was large, clean and very comfortable. The sleeping area is separate from the living area and the bathroom is very large. The hotel is convenient to the airport, interstate, and the downtown area. Parking like most other hotels in this area of... more

I wanted somewhere clean and nice to stay with my Husband and 3 year old that was close to Sea World. We also went to Legoland and the Concierge was very helpful in setting up a car service to take us there and back with a carseat in it. The hotel staff was very friendly, but the rooms were not... more

The Sheraton Suites, San Diego has an odd configuration. It's built atop a hill, so you have to drive 9 stories up a circular tunnel into the garage, take an elevator to the hotel lobby and then walk thru the restaurant to get to the bank of elevators that lead to the hotel rooms. Once you make it thru this... more

I decided I was going to become a member of TA because this hotel was so bad and I had to write a review. We stayed at the Sheraton Suites San Diego because it was close to the El Cortez (we were there for a wedding). On the 17th floor (not a mega member as I was not on the... more
