The property is old style. Doors open to the outside. There is a decent continental breakfast offered in the morning. The pool area was fairly nice. On the downside we did have a ladybug in our bed on both mornings. No idea where it came from. more

I thought it was a nice location, near condos and apartments rather than a bunch of other local motels/hotels. Easy access to the freeway was really nice and there is an Albertsons and a Von's close by. The San Diego Zoo and Sea World are a short distance from the hotel and the Wild Animal Park isn't a bad drive... more

Don't book on-line because this hotel is part of a chain that has a "buy now" feature that makes your room non-cancellable no matter how much notice you give.
