I found bed bug in my bed, the management was not surprised, took it as a norm. good location, good price, but $20 economy is not worth spending $1000 to get rid of bed bugs in your house if you bring them from that hotel.

The location of the hotel is great; there is a supermarket right across the street. BUT we actually found FIVE cockroaches in our room. It was crazy and disgusting to see cockroaches on my pillow. Also, the water came out from the shower head was kind of yellow. In short, you get what you pay for.

The staff was super accomadating but there were two extra visitors in our room. Super 8 motel was better off than this place. I'd rather not leave pictures, it's gruesome. They moved us to the top level, I'm assuming since it's more of a crawl for the roaches...

We arrived on a Friday. We pulled up front because there was no parking, after circling the area for nearly an hour looking for parking. We finally just checked in, went to Dennys (conveniently close). Which could have been walking distance, but we needed to park so we had no choice but to drive over. We probably sat there drinking... I attended a reunion with headquarters in an expensive close-by hotel. I opted to save lots of money by staying at the Consulate for 4 nights and walking to the other hotel. It was totally worth it. The Consulate is older but clean and comfortable; brand new and ultra modern was not worth the extra expense for me. Besides from... More

A son of a truck driver who spent summers in motels across the USA, I am pretty comfortable in value hotels. In fact, I think I am more at home in a motel than at a standard Hampton. I rented this room without the benefit of knowing its name. The rate was ridiculously cheap for its location. Heck, it would... More

Had to change room three times due shower didn't work, air conditioning didn't cool, patched holes in the wall unpainted. No quality control!!! The mgnmt was responsive in giving me a working room. Great location and view of harbor and downtown at night.

This is my 2nd stay with the hotel...I was here back in May & ended staying almost a week doing tourist attractions. Am here again in September, 4 months later and Julio, at the Front Desk, recognized me and I, vice versa! He gave me exceptional service in the room I got ( Rm 421) was the 1 I got... More

This hotel is good if your staying for one night. It was a good price. The hotel wasnt bad its self just was out dated. There was no ice machine on the floors so you had to go down to the lobby just to get ice. The tv only had to working channels and the pillows sucked. But other than... More
