I had read reviews before staying here so I understood this is not really a hotel but a timeshare apart-hotel. The one bed suite had everything you need except for sound proofing! Dishwasher, Coffee machine, plates, cutlery etc... and the noise of your neighbours and those walking/talking as they walk to the lift. I booked this hotel as it was... More

let me start by saying that this is not a hotel as such. Its a timeshare block of apartments. Now we had booked into a small unit and it had everything we needed including the kitchen sink. The bed was super comfortable and the bedding was crisp and white. Everything in the unit was nice but I found that it... More

Great, attentive staff. Walking distance to Balboa park, really good restaurants, coffee, anything you could want. The hotel itself was very cute, not a typical timeshare apartment but a hip little boutique in a quiet part of the city. Staff was fabulous, in particular maintenance. Beware they do spray really heavy air freshener, which I don't understand. It made me... More

I stayed here about 20 years ago, but the place has been completely redone. The room is huge and uniquely furnished. I was thinking about staying at Holiday Inn or Farirfield suites with a view of the freeway, but got a huge picture window overlong Balboa Park instead. Someone was complaining about not having a restaurant nearby but we too... More

Even though I'd researched this property online, the pictures don't do it justice. It's much nicer than I expected! We had a King Suite with a small kitchen. The closet was big enough to use for a dressing room. The only time we had to use valet parking was when we checked in late on a Friday night. In the... More

My husband and I were in San Diego for a 2 day conference. We stayed at Inn at the Park on Saturday night and were delighted with what we found! The staff greeted us with such a friendly attitude (and this continued for our entire stay). The place is super nice with brand new carpeting and really nice furnishings in... More

Dear CMac511, We are grateful to have received your feedback. That first impression of the rooms is stunning and we are so pleased you enjoyed it. We certainly benefit from the amazing views of San Diego from the 7th floor terrace as well. Thanks for the shout outs to our guest service team members Vinny, Karen, & Patrick; and to... More

Charming Hotel with helpful staff. You have balboa park across the street and can walk to many restaurants and a connivence store. You are in a noisy area so that can't be helped. You do have to pay for wifi and the valet charge everyday. The bed was comfortable and the shower was easy to work. I liked the kitchen.... More

The location could not have been more perfect. We walked and ran in Balboa Park, walked to restaurants, museums, and coffee. The staff was very nice. Old renovated hotel so it's a little quirky, but rooms were comfortable and elegant. I'm picky about smells, and this place smelled very nice. The elevator is slow. Laundry facilities but no change machine.... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Inn at the Park while attending a wedding in San Diego. The staff at the hotel were fabulous, very helpful and cheerful. The room was very large, nicely decorated and certainly not your typical "cookie cutter" decor. We would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to San Diego.

We went with our four year old twins, and stayed on the first floor in the studio for a week. The room was beautiful, felt right out of a magazine. We walked to balboa park one day. Highly recommend Market place down the block for breakfast burrito. Parking was easy to find, so we skipped the valet parking. The coffee... More
