I just returned from a long weekend in San Diego and stayed at the Inn at the Park which is an historic hotel in San Diego which has been renovated Check in was quite pain free and although valet parking is offered (for $15 per day), I found it quite easy to find street parking The cliche "location, location, location... Stayed at the hotel for two nights on May 12th to May 14th, in room 306. We were unable to check in early, as the hotel was every busy and sold out. The staff allowed us to leave our luggage at the facility and we went and enjoyed sea world for the afternoon. Came back after check in time -... More

We had to wait close to an hour past the hotel's check-in time to get into our room but were rewarded with a two-bedroom suite. The space was so large (and included a full kitchen) that we could easily have stayed there a week or more. Very clean, modern. All the amenities, and of course right on the edge of... More

There were many things that I loved about this hotel! The rooms were huge and open and the decor was very cute and modern. It made the stay very convenient to have a almost a full kitchen (fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink, and dish washer). The free breakfast in the morning was good- had bagels, croissants, english... More

I had stayed here before at the old Park Manor hotel and liked it then so was blown away by the incredible improvements in the hotel and rooms. Customer service is incredible and special mention must be made about Jeff the guest relations manager. A mistake/ error had been made with my reservation and Jeff went way out of his... More

We chose this hotel for a short two-night stay in San Diego due to the affordable price point and close proximity to Balboa Park, as well as several restaurants we were interested in visiting. PROS: Nicely designed room, with large couch and kitchen area, which was useful as we were traveling with a baby and liked having access to an... More

Stayed for one night on a business trip. The hotel was very convenient to the airport and my client. They have done some major work, and it shows...but not quite there yet. The lobby is cute and the staff super friendly and helpful. The elevator is just a disaster - slow, painfully slow. The hallway and my room smelled horrible... More

Our family loved staying at Inn at the Park. We were visiting San Diego and the location was wonderful. It's right across the street from Balboa Park and there are lots of great restaurants and shops within walking distance. The rooms were large, well-appointed and clean and six people could have slept there, although there was only one bathroom. On... More

The atmosphere was fun. The wait staff very energetic. the room was ok. It was on the verge of looking clean but you tell that something was off. When you looked closely you coudl find remnants of the previous occupants. The rooftop bar was the best part of the hotel.

My partner and I were looking for a place away from the typical downtown options and wanted some place close to nice restaurants and bars. The Inn at Park did not disappoint. Admittedly first impressions with the sloooow elevator and dated hallways gave us pause. However once in our room we were pleasantly surprised. Nicely updated, big bathroom and spacious... More
