This is a beautiful hotel with great beds.....just what beds are supposed to be like in a hotel. I really did slleep like a baby. The location was convenient. I was there attending an event at Qualcomm Stadium. The location was so close to the stadium, maybe a mile or less. The main cross streets the hotel is close by... more

My daughter and her friend had tickets to a concert in San Diego (we are from the LA area). I used price line name your own price and got rooms for $66 dollars which was about 40% less than I could get the room on my own. We arrived at the hotel around 4 pm and were checked in to... more

I stayed at this marriott for a business trip in April. When we arrived we were greeted and we got our rooms. I went to mine and the AC was broken. I had to go downstairs to get another room. When I got to my second room it smelled of urine. I went back downstairs and got another room (3rd).... more

Just returned from this property and had another great experience at the hotel. Front desk was very accommodating in allowing us to park our car full of dorm room items in the underground parking facility without forcing us to valet and pay the additional fee. King room overlooking the pool was very nice, comfortable, and clean. Can be a little... more

Average. The lobby was nice. They are currently updating the bar and restaurant area with a fresh coat of paint. One of the elevators was not operating during our stay, pity as it was a huge water polo tournament and there were kids using them constantly. The rooms: well, they were nice. The beds were "full" not "queen" beds. Quite... more

The purpose of my stay was to attend a conference being held at the hotel. Warmly greeted at the front desk, we were able to check in a few hours early. My room was a spacious and pleasantly appointed double, with a small vanity area and seperate space for the commode and shower. There was a large desk with internet... more

Overall experience was very good. Stayed here for 2 nights and got a good rate on Priceline. The check in process was very smooth and we received an excellent recommendation for dinner that night from Tony at the front desk. We were very impressed by the attention he gave us. The room was clean and it had a nice shower.... more

It hurts me to write this review, but hopefully someone at Marriott will read it and fix the problems so it will be good again. I mentioned it to the hotel, but it keeps sliding downhill. I love San Diego. Beautiful place. The hotel's location is great. The pool area and exercise room are amazing. The breakfast buffet is not... more

Stayed here a few times on business over past few months, culminating in a 10 day stay in June. The staff is accomodating and friendly, especially front desk staff, and concierge lounge staff - delightful and friendly....having to spend such a long time away from home, yet having convenient place for breakfast made this tolerable, especially when working long hours.... more
