Stayed for two nights on a business trip. Location is great and gthe views are amazing, weather really helps too! Room was good size, but the bathroom could do with an update. Great place to base if your going to the gas lamp district. Breakfast was really great and the service phenomenal! Not overly priced and would go back more

Short walk to GasLamp Quarter. Clean, inviting lobby. Room was decent. No popcorn ceiling as mentioned in a prevoius post. My room had crown moulding. Elevators for South Tower weren't working (blown fuse) for a period of 20 minutes or so one afternoon so the staff offered free appetizers and drinks at DW's Pub (in hotel) for the inconvenience. Concierge... more

This is the sort of hotel that spends on a few upgrades but fails to realize this highlights the bad parts even more. You walk in to a very modern, unique lobby and conference area but greeted by early 90's decor everywhere else. The king room was spacious but had very dated, dirty looking carpet (I didn't take off my... more

The hotel is in walking distance to the marina as well as the Gas Lamp District with any type of restaurant you could want. There is also a Starbucks and a restaurant(s) inside the hotel. Short ride to the airport. The sleeping rooms are average, the furniture and carpet could stand to be updated. Bathroom area is small, no separate... more

The Marriott Marina is well-located -- if you are in town on business or at a conference. It is easy to walk to the Gas Lamp District with its many restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable and everything was in working order. The room was very clean. The meeting and conference rooms were comfortable. The restaurant/bar was a bit... more

This hotel was perfect for us! The location was great, within walking distance to great restaraunts, shopping and entertainment. The room was very clean. Our city view room had a great view of the marina and city. Concierge was very helpful and polite. My only dissapointment was the cost of breakfast in the restraunt as it was not included with... more

Great location in the marina. You can see the boats as they go out to the ocean. The naval ships across the bay. Walk to great restaurants and shopping at Seaport Village. Or catch a pedicab to the gas lamp district. Short drive to Coronado Island, Sea World, San Diego Zoo and LaJolla. The higher the floor the better the... more

My husband and I just returned from a 4 day trip to San Diego. What a beautiful place. We stayed at Marriott on the Harbor and could just walk outside and be within feet of the boats, resturants and Seaport Village. The weather was amazing 70 degree days with sunshine and light jackets required for evenings. Like having a perfect... more

My husband and I stayed at the Marriot Marina San Diego from Sept. 26 to Sept. 29. We rented a car from the airport so we had to use the hotel parking which was $22 daily. Check-in went very smooth. We stayed on the 10th floor of the South Tower and had a wonderful view of pool and harbor. Unfortunately,... more

I stayed in the North Tower for a few nights while on business. The room was clean but the furniture and bathroom was scuffed up and dated. I had a bay view, which was nice, but not really worth the extra money I paid. I heard the train several times througout the night each night. I agree with another reviewer... more
