Stayed at this hotel recently for a work conference. The conference was 5 nights and I had added a few nights at the end to extend my stay in San Diego to see a good friend. There were many hiccups along the way, but the staff did a good job of offering apologies and solutions for each one. At check... More

Huge but well managed and well maintained. I was there for a business conference, the check-in line was long but moved with swift efficiency. I was told at check-in that this was one of the hotels busiest checking out over 1,000 and checkin-in another 1,000. You'd never know it check-in was smooth. Room was very roomy with more than enough... More

The stay at this hotel was overall a good experience and perfect for the reason we came to San Diego. My son wanted to take in a couple of games at Petco Park and the stadium was less than a 15 minute walk from the hotel. This Hotel is also very close to the Gaslamp District and Seaport Village is... From the outside this is one impressive hotel. It is rather dominant of the skyline, its HUGE and the lobby is very grand and spotless. I also found MOST of the staff to be very pleasant! However that is where it all seemed to end. I think in a hotel as large as this the devil is in the detail... More

It is a very nice hotel with habour view from every room. The price is a little bit expensive but worth for service, location and the view. I went to San Diego for a conference and the room was paid by the committee. Therefore, I felt very happy with my stay ^^

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here in April. The view from our room of the bay was beautiful. The staff was always helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Great location close to zoo, ballpark and Sea World. We will stay here again.

Great for our short adult stay-cation Aug 4-6, 2012. Review includes things that were hard for me to find out from my online research or from the reservations desk. This hotel is immediately adjacent to seaport village and the Embarcadero Marina, and about a 15-20+ minute walk to the Gaslamp and the east village. Self parking was very convenient, although... I drove down for a weekend getaway to this Grand Hyatt. I generally like Hyatts and I stay at quite a few of them. This one did not meet my expectations. The Staff were borderline hostile. It seemed to be a bother to ask them questions or get any help. I usually get excellent service from Hyatts. I don't know... More

Always a fantastic stay. The hotel has so many excellent dining choices, with the best being the Top of the Hyatt. The check-in process was slightly disorganized. What disappoints me is that if a large conference is staying there and a large conference is checking in, those not affiliated with them should be able to check in first since we... More

Fairly typical hyatt that has seen days. Everything was showing it's age in our room, except for the new Samsung tv. Te weirdest thing was the Mosquitos. We were on the 19th floor of the harbor tower and left the window open for a few hours 1 night and ended up spending the rest of the weekend killing big fat... More
