I recently stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt for a week for a conference held at the nearby convention center. The hotel was very nice, with great restaurants and a top floor bar with a gorgeous view. The location is perfect -- right on the water but very close to the Gaslamp district. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms... More

I stayed in this hotel twice, and just booked my 3rd trip. Simply put, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Entrance and lobby decor is fantastic, with very high ceiling, marble floor and massive reception desk. Rooms have been recently renovated and are very stylish and modern. Beds are extremely comfortable, and this hotel... More

I really liked everything about my stay at this hotel. Total proximity to everything. Luckily the conference I was attending was being held in this building but if I wanted to venture outside the hotel there was plenty to see. Right outside the hotel is the quaint Seaport Village with hundreds of shops and great places to eat. I like... More

From the bellman who greeted us at our car, to the bell captain who arranged to hold my refridgerated items until our room was ready, our stay at the Manchester Grand Hyatt was a true pleasure. Every employee was at the least courteous; most went out of their way to assist us and make us feel like valued guests. The... More

During a trip this year to San Diego we booked a stay at the Hyatt. What I didn't realise was how central the hotel was to everything of interest. It was a $15 cab ride from the airport, central to the Seaport Villiage, and right by the Gaslamp district. The hotel was beautiful, well run and the staff were excellent.... More

Stayed for 10 days and this hotel was ideal for us as we do not drive in the USA. The entrance to the hotel is amazing, the staff very friendly and the conscierge staff very helpful and delightful. The bedrooms were spotlessly clean with everything you require for your stay. The location could not be bettered. Seaport Village right on... More

We stayed here for a conference recently with 2 small children (4 & 1). It's a great hotel, the pool area is very nice, the lobby is amazing, great bell and concierge staff, nice rooms with amazing views (if you're high up) good location. Breakfast was good value as the children were free. There are also a few local cafes... More

Location, cannot be beat. Most beautiful lobby in the San Diego area. Clean and updated rooms. One great restaurant, Sally's on the Water. Two very mediocre restaurants, Redfields and the Lobby Bar. I love staying here, and after eating twice in Gastown, I tried Sally's. It beat the top 3 rated Gastown restaurants that I had traveled to. I couldn't... More

We spent our summer vacation here for a little over a week. This was our first time to San Diego, and we chose not to rent a car. We had no problem getting around, so it was in a good location for our home base. The main reason we chose this hotel was for the roof-top pools, for our daughter's... More
