We stayed here for one night on the Fourth of July, 2013. The pros: The 4th floor "pool deck" did not disappoint as the perfect perch to watch fireworks. Comfortable, fun and unforgettable! The rooms and their ocean views are completely stunning, too. Beds are very comfy. The location, with its proximity to Seaport Village (literally steps away), downtown and... More

I stayed at the hotel for three night for a business meeting, and found the hotel to be excellent in all respects. The room was a good size, had a fabulous view of the water and had modern, clean, attractive appointments. So often during big meetings the elevators take forever and the public spaces are depressing -- but this hotel's... More

I don't generally give a 5-star rating to any hotel, but I this one deserves it. I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past 10 years, usually because I am attending the same recurring conference. This conference has approx. 1,500 attendees. The hotel accomodates the guest rooms and all of the conference facilities and meals. And we... More

My husband and I had a 2 night stay here after a week in Vegas and boy was it fantastic. We arrived and apparently we had 2 bookings that were cancelled but the guy who served us was not worried and just put us in a room straight away and have fantastic suggestions for dining out. Rooms were lovely, view... More

Fantastic location for my mom who was there during the day with my baby but no car. You can go out the water-side exit of the hyatt and are then right on the boardwalk without having to cross any streets. Very short walk to the convention center. View was phenomenal. Room lovely, 24/7 gym, I will try to stay here... More

We spent a weekend in San Diego a few weekends ago. The Grand Hyatt is old but has been refurbished in the recent past. Its really a huge property. the service was generally good, valet parking was excellent, we had a suite and it was simply huge with modern furniture. the regency club at breakfast was too over crowded. The... More

Loved this hotel! Staff made us feel very welcome! Gave us great suggestions for restaurants! Beautiful property and views! Great value and perfect location! Small area to get coffee and pastries! So much to do on property but right by the gaslight district so you must venture out! Ate at a great sushi restaurant on broadway called Sushi Deli 2!... More

We are currently staying here with our 4 young children and the hotel has been the perfect choice for us. We are on the 28th floor in two interconnecting rooms and the views are beautiful. The staff have been very friendly everywhere we have been. The kids especially like Samuel in the breakfast restaurant. The Seaport Village is just downstairs... More

I am here for 5 night stay and have been very disaapointed with the service. Our safe didn't work when we arrived so had to call to get it fixed. After a day here and three or four calls it was finally fixed. Much miscommunication between staff about who was going to fix it. Probably had 5 different staff in... More

The Manchester Grand Hyatt is a wonderful hotel. I have just returned from a 6 night stay on business and would certainly recommend it to anybody. The staff are very friendly and helpful. San Diego and in particularly the area surrounding the hotel makes staying at the Manchester Grand a great experience.
