This hotel is superbly located right on the waterfront in San Diego and within walking distance of Horton Plaza, Petco Park, the Gaslamp District, Little Italy and the Convention Center. The pool is nice. The rooms are a bit on the small side, but the location makes up for it.

Stayed at the Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego for a business meeting. The place is absolutely huge, and the amenities are very good. It has a wonderful location right on the water with amazing views of the harbor. It also has very easy access to the seawalk and USS Midway nearby. It is within relative walking distance to the Gaslamp... More

Stayed 3 nights for a convention and had a lovely experience. You're walking distance to great food, shopping and sight seeing. Take the nearby ferry to Coronado, or drinks and apps on the 40th floor overlooking the bay. The breakfast buffet was worth every penny and the service was was impeccable. Pricey but good.

This hotel is a large property but do be afraid of that. Hyatt is a pro at creating a atmosphere of a small hotel. Quick check in, easy access to beautiful rooms. The Resturants were great. The location is perfect 10 minute walk to gas lamp, ball park Horton plaza and the USS midway. We have stayed in over 30... More

Very spacious rooms, great views, very good location, especially handy for Seaport village, city centre or congress centre. Helpful staff. Nice swimming pool and kids activity area. Shame that you have to pay extra for breakfast and wi fi!

After doing all my research I decided to stay at the Manchester. Staff were friendly and nice. It is a beautiful entrance. It cost $30 to self park or $45 to valet FYI. Rooms are on the smaller side but all we did was sleep in there so no big deal. Room had chipped paint on walls and the TV... More

I must start by stating that the room had a breathtaking view of San Diego bay, marina, Coronado Bridge and Seaport Village! This is truly a very stylish Grand Hyatt. Staff was very professional, helpful and courteous at all times. Guest Room was very clean, beds fitted with premium linens and a down duvet, had coffee maker and small fridge... More

Excellent hotel in the best location in the city. Friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic room, larger than most standard hotel rooms with air con, great shower and huge comfy bed. Room had floor to ceiling windows with spectacular views of the marina, pool area and bridge.

The staff were wonderfully helpful and the property was beautiful. Many families here and I was surprised at all the activities for kids. They basically take over the pool, but it was nice seeing so many families enjoying their time together. They had movies under the stars in the evening and took blow up mattresses out for the kids to... More

It is a truly amazing hotel! The staff is friendly and efficient, everything is really clean and tidy. This is an enormous hotel but there is free wi-fi in the rooms that works perfectly even if the hotel is full. It has a beautiful view with great location and the hotel is nearby several restaurants. The conference rooms were really... More
