This is a really great hotel in San Diego close to Seaport Village. Our room overlooked a marina and Market Place, really great view. It's only a minute walk to restaurants and boutique shops in Seaport Village, plus a few minutes to the USS Midway aircraft carrier. The Westfield mall, Ralph's supermarket and Gaslamp Quarter are only a few minutes... More

I've stayed in this hotel 3 times over the past 10 years, and each time was impressed with the total experience. The waterfront location just a couple of blocks from the Old Town and one block from the Convention Center makes this hotel perfectly suited for business or pleasure. Rooms are spacious, many redone throughout, and the list of dining... More

Great hotel to stay in for business or fun! My husband had a conference here & I flew in to meet him on his last day. Our room was beautiful and modern. We had a view of Seaport Village & the Large Aircraft Carrier which is now a permanently docked museum. It is very close to most of San Diego's... More

I stayed for 3 nights while attending a conference at the San Diego Convention Center. Rooms are expensive but it is totally worth. I had a nice bay-facing room on the 31st floor. Room was cozy, big with nice decor, comfortable bed. They have a small joint at the lobby for quick breakfast which was pretty useful for me. Within... More

We stayed at the Grande Hyatt because of a business meeting but we invited our son/wife and two small grandchildren to join us for the week. This was our second stay in San Diego but I must say this hotel has the VERY best location for visitors and the Hyatt staff is beyond perfect. The Village shops are next door.... More

We travelled to San Diego for just the one night and wanted a comfortable hotel to stay in. The group consisted of two adults and two children (13 and 15). We chose the Hyatt because of the chain's reputation and the location of the property. We were not disappointed. The property was fantastic. Great foyer, great rooms, great view. We... More

The hotel is good but expensive the location is great. It's probably one of the best hotels in the area. Very close to the Marina and the board walk. There is a Cheesecake Factory and seasons 52 right across. Overall, I liked the place tons of things to do around. The Segway tours are also close by.

Holy cow. We spent 3 nights there (all 5 of us...Mom, Dad and 3 kids aged 16, 14 and 10). Two adjoining rooms. One king, one with 2 queens. Service was outstanding. Location perfect. First day: buffet brunch (outstanding), followed by a walking tour of the harbor and U.S.S. Midway. Clean hotel. Lots of space to spread out. Comfortable beds... More
