What a great experience. Lovely spacious room, very comfortable beds, top quality breakfast, huge choice and superbly cooked. Ask for Nancy as your server - a real professional. An extra would be to extend free wifi to rooms but that may not be the norm in the US

Beautiful, elegant hotel by the water, park, shopping village and restaurants, trolley. Got a very good rate plus a cheat upgrade for a high floor room. Street metered parking till 6pm, free till 8am, several blocks away to avoid $27/day hotel parking. Aircraft carrier and Fish Market restaurant (best) a nice 10 minute walk along the water away. Enjoy!

Just got back from a rip to So. Cal. We stayed at this Hyatt on our last night . We got a redone room and loved the changes. Only changes I'd make is a slightly higher back to the small sofa in the King room and a slightly thicker shade. Staff was very friendly. The 4th floor pool area had... More

So many positives about this hotel. Check-in was easy, front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Valet was prompt and attentive. Our rooms were really well-appointed, having been recently refurbished. Room was large, bathroom was very nice, and the room was clean. Big TV and an amazing view of the bay. My only criticism was the refrigerator in the... More

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful hotel courtesy of my job to attend a conference. The ride from the airport was great. Only cost $13 with 2 people in the cab. Upon arriving, I was struck by the beauty of the lobby. Very rich. Very polished. Check-in was a breeze. I had reserved online and then requested... More

This is a great hotel. It's HUGE with two tall towers and extensive conference facilities. PROs: Check-in was easy breezy. Late check out 2 days later was no problem. Room decor was sleek and modern. Location, location, location - this is wonderful! Walking distance to many spots downtown, the Midway, convention center, and adjacent to the Seaport Village and tons... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times for special occasions, anniversary, birthdays, etc. The corner rooms in the older tower are the best. We had a wonderful room with a 180 degree view of San Diego Bay and the harbor.

We have stayed many times at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego and it is definitely one of our favorites. We always reserve one of the corner king rooms and were anxious to see how everything looked after the recent room remodels. The remodel looked real good and we liked everything except the sitting areas in the room. The "chair"... More

My husband and I took an impromptu trip to San Diego for Mother's Day weekend and stayed at the Grand Hyatt. We were there for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute, amazed at the genuine warmth and friendliness of the staff in such a large hotel. The first room we were given smelled as if someone had cheated and smoked,... More
