My Husband and I stayed at the Hyatt though a Jetblue getaway package from 9/21-9/27, I chose Hyatt because I have stayed at their hotels in Hawaii and was very impressed. Well...the Mission Bay hotel has some issues. The room was newly redecorated and had beautiful furniture and a very comfortable bed, but the rugs were stained (badly stained) as... more

My wife, my brother and his family and my mother all stayed here for a long weekend. The hotel was fine, although they didn't have our rooms ready when we got there at 3:30pm and when we finally did get to the rooms, one had two queen beds rather than the king it was supposed to have. The hotel managment... more

We just got back from a weekend trip to San Diego. We took our 5 year old son to Sea World and chose the Hyatt because of it's location. We were greeted with a smile and upgraded to an oceanview room with a balcony. The room is decent, small stains on carpet, cigarette holes in patio chairs, and makeup on... more

The Good: The hotel staff was very pleasant, especially the Concierge staff. The beds were super comfortable. The Bad: Where should I start? We booked a six day vacation package on Southwest Vacations. We knew that we were getting a standard room, but we had no idea what that meant. It meant that at a Hyatt Resort, you have no... more

We booked this hotel through Priceline about three weeks before we left and were a little nervous after reading reviews on this site! I have to say that my husband and I were pleasantly suprised and wished we could have extended our stay. The staff was extremely friendly - always smiling and asking how we were doing while passing by.... more

I was so excited to stay in a 3 star hotel as part of a time share deal for free! Thank god I didn't have to pay for it! it LOOKS pretty and fancy, but there were some problems which I would hate to have if I had to pay over $200 a nite. For example, self parking for $18... more

We stayed at the Hyatt for 3 nights during our Summer vacation this year. When I booked this hotel I thought that I couldn't go wrong with this Hyatt property. The pictures on their website and the fact that it was recently remodeled looked convincing as well but after reading some of the reviews on here my expectations were rather... more

I am a frequent Hyatt customer and, as such, have come to expect a certain level of quality at Hyatt hotels. This is my experience at the Hyatt Mission Bay - First, although I had specifically requested a room with a balcony or patio, I was given a room with NO balcony or patio. When I was then moved to... more

Incredible hotel. We stayed here for one night. Our room was fabulous - it was large, had very contemporary decor, and was very clean. The bathroom was also very clean, which is always the first thing I check in a room. The room only had one king bed, and there were 3 of us staying in this room. We had... more

Went to San Diego on the spur of the moment for a wedding. We live in Santa Barbara. My husband, my son and I stayed at the Hyatt just last weekend and I can only summarize it in this way: Here are the Pros: Hotel is conveniently located to area attractions The bed is extremely comfortable as those Hyatt beds... more
