good location. nice rooms. clean. quiet. everything you expect from an embassy suites - nothing more or less. we were quite disappointed at the breakfast, however. the food was OK, but the wait was horrible. 20 minutes or more in line to get the cooked breakfast. It was hard just to find plates or bowls to get the self serve... more

Small breakfast area. Very difficult to get in and out of the one-way parking structure. Suggest staying at one of the nearby hotels like Hyatt, Hilton, etc..... more

Seems to be run by people who are quite young and inexperienced in serving the public. The security is a hired on 3rd party which should be replaced. Fear them as you partake in the cocktail hour. Beware of them as you walk about the hotel at a resonable hour. At hours you should feel they might be around they... more

This is a good hotel BUT, it is also a hotel that caters to kids soccer teams, B-ball, any youth team where they can pack 200 kids into a room. Thus, kids running around all the time. One fun trick is to push every button on the elevator. Parking structure is way too small and they charge for it, parked... more

I stayed for a full week (6 nights / 7 days) . This hotel is within walking distance to several great dining and shopping options in the University Town Center (literally across the street) and bit further to the Costa Verde shopping / dining center. The free cooked to order breakfast was amazing. At first I did not know how... more

Our family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids age 9 & 11) stayed at this hotel March 23-27. Room on 8th floor was nice - 1 King bed with flat screen in separate room, bathroom, closets, sofa bed, flat screen, desk & chair, and side chair in front room. There was also a fridge in a closet across from a... more

Very nice rooms, good typoical happy hour, all in all, very nice facilities. I think charging $19 for parking in a somewhat suburban setting is crazy, but overall, it's a solid hotel that will not let you down. more

Great place to stay. They even offer a discount for family members of UCSD students. No complaints, very helpful and friendly staff. more

We were looking for a hotel that was centrally located and the Embassy Suites in La Jolla did not disappoint. It is located about 20 mins from Legoland, 15 mins from San Diego Zoos and attractions, and 10 mins from La Jolla Cove. The staff is very friendly and service is superb. They make everyone feel very comfortable. Minor issues:... more

The day we checked in was the day our Marine son returned from Iraq and he had no place to stay. Embassy Suites was very accomodating until he found a place and we were treated Royally! It was a very emotional time for us and we appreciate everything they did. more
