Decent budget hotel centrally located between downtown and north San Diego. Very close to several local attractions (Zoo, Balboa Park, Seaworld, downtown, etc) Free continental breakfast included, although it's your usual half-hearted attempt at a breakfast we find so frequently at budget hotels now: juice, danishes, and cereal. This hotel is basically a Motel 6 with gold colored paint. The rooms were musty smelling and small. They didn't have any soap, shampoo's, extra towels, etc...I would not recommend staying here. True it's close to the freeways, but that's about it. Their pics and summary are misleading. more
