Nice place to stay for centrally located access to recreation and restaurants and business! Remember the breakfast room is separate from lobby area which may be different from other typical BW's, and requires key card too.

The golden Triangle inn is what you would expect from a basic motel. Ok for a night or two, not more. The place is unattractive, but offer drive easy access to la jolla area and north san diego. Main problems were the noise from people late at night, and the terrible Wi-Fi.

The place is noisy, you can hear cars from the street and people going up and down the stairways. Bed is hard. I didn't feel safe and couldn't sleep. The smell of cleaning chemicals is so strong, it made me sneeze.

The toilet bowl on the room was wiggling I thought I was going to fall! There are signs of rust all over the room. The breakfast room is terrible, there are spills everywhere and room keys do not work to enter the breakfast area. I requested an extra bed/crib but was ignored. Dirty altogether. It is also noisy.

I usually find better quality at Best Western than this hotel. The price was fair so I gave it a try, but I will look for another hotel next time I'm in San Diego. The walls are thin and the toilet ran making for a noisy stay. Beds are good and comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean but the... More

Arrived at 2:25 and were not allowed to check in until 3:00. Check out was at 12:00 and yet housekeeping was knocking at our door shortly after 9:00. Our room had the worst mattress that I have ever tried to sleep on, woke up with back and neck pain.

Noisy, smelly room, uncooperative slovenly check-in guy refused to assist elderly visitor to bring luggage to room. Not even a closet in the room, just a place to hang a few garments. The continental breakfast was another disappointment, no where near as nice as other best westerns.

One night was enough for us. The room was clean, and that's the nicest thing I have to say about the place. The location is convenient to the 805 freeway and on Clairemont Mesa Blvd., but that makes the traffic noise intolerable. The pillows were hard as rocks, and the stench of air freshener was sickening. On this trip we... More

Request were not met. Treatment was rude and uncaring. Reservation was for ground floor due difficulty walking as we both use canes. We were put on third floor in the very last room causing difficulty breathing. Have medical condition COPD.

This was the worst hotel / motel that I have yet stayed at in the US. The place is dated, tired and close to I5 as well as a big street and as a result I heard the traffic noise all night. The floor on the third level was breaking up and looked terrible - as was the rest of... More
