Good: Manager Fredrick was very nice as was most of staff (however direct hotel reservations lady was rude and unfriendly), clean outside appearance, new sealant on sidewalks, breakfast buffet was OK, internet good in close rooms, but poor in distant. Bad: Room was not cleaned daily. Bed was made, but used coffee cups left on tables and counters, trash in... More

We recently stayed at this hotel over Thanksgiving. I can tell you traveling with two young children, this hotel worked out well for us. I love the kid's suites. Very convenient. However, the "suites" are somewhat small. The fact that you have to walk through the kid's room to use the bathroom was a pain too. We had to tip-toe... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. We have during our 2 week vacation stayed in several "suite" rooms, and although this room was big there was not much space becaused of all the chunky furniture (by that I mean the large wardrobe/TV units/desk and coffee tables) - if the furniture was updated the suite might seem more spacious. The TV's were... More

We stayed at the Comfort Inn for 5 days and spent over $1000.00 in lodging costs etc... When we returned from Sea World one night, there was only one parking space available towards the back of the lot, which we parked in. I noticed a body in a broken down car next to where we parked. Apparently, the security there... More

I recently stayed at this property as it was listed as a three-diamond under AAA ratings and had bunk beds for my two young children. This hotel is not as nice as advertised. The room I had showed its age as it was looking dirty and worn. I also had one of the worst experiences I have ever had with... More

I stayed this hotel with my husband and two kids. They promised me to get the room with two queens( I confirmed on the phone two times), but when I arrived, they gave us the smallest room(one king bed). My husband had to sleep on the floor with roller bed. Actually there was no space for roller bed, so we... More

Stayed her over Labor Day weekend. The Pros: It is a great location to to explore San Diego and very quick access to Sea World. Lots of restaurants across the freeway at the mall area. We really like Ruby's Diner!! The Cons: Hotel is very dated. We had a two room suite with bunk beds in one room and a... More

This hotel was dated, the rooms dark and dingy and quite frankly dirty. We stayed with our two young children for eight days and the rooms were barely touched by housekeeping. Although the beds were made up, nothing was wiped or cleaned and we had to contact reception on several occassions to have our towels replaced. (something you would expect... More

The hotel was clean. The location was very convenient. The free breakfast was pretty basic, but it was free, and perfectly adequate. Most of the staff was friendly and courteous. Our rooms were spacious, with microwave and mini fridge in each. Beds were comfortable. Maid service was prompt. The pool was a bit small, and it got crowded in the... More
