Stayed here with my family. Shuttle service was very unreliable, we missed several planned activities due to this. Resorted to public transportation and taxis. Staff was rude. Too many stairs, difficult for grandma and young kids. more

Hillside arrangement gives a very different experience. Allows for pretty landscaping and views. Fountains and flowers are wonderful. Elevators eliminate stairs if desired. Rooms are spacious. This is one of my favorite hotels, I always stay here when I visit San Diego. Close to where you want to be. Great service & ammenities. It gives you a feeling as if you were in a Hacienda in Mexico. Very comfortable suites, great views of the city. Lots of things to do near by. more
