The staff was a huge pain to deal with...and I had to deal with them about 5 times for a one night stay! I was charged for 2 nights when my reservation clearly said "1 night", I was given the wrong room, and then when we were finally given the correct room it was dirty! Once everything was straightened out,... More

We stayed 4 nights in San Diego. This hotel was wonderful, it was quiet, reasonably priced, clean and the staff were excellent. We weren't going to rent a car to drive to WAP and Seaworld (was going to take a tour bus) but the staff helped us to locate a good deal and advised us on places to eat, see... More

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying on the 14th (top) floor. We had a view of the water/ships, city, even planes landing. We loved the the conveniences and furniture. Great for a romantic city stay or business traveler. Parking was $10/day though.

We loved San Diego and this hotel was great. It is an ideal place to stay if you don't mind walking, as we walked all around San Diego and found our way back to this hotel without a problem. The only thing about San Diego is the amount of homeless people which is a bit daunting when you are not... More

Booked for two nights by travel company. The room smelt unclean and had a distinct old cigarette smell too. The pillows reeked, obviously needed to be laundered and when I asked for the pillows to be changed, the same ones were returned having been put in the tumble dryer to "freshen up" !! Requested directions to the stairs as both... More

Stayed here for 2 weeks on vacation. It was ok for the price but would choose something else if I visit San Diego again. The first room we were given was on the first floor, it smelled of mold and smoke and was so dark even with the lights on it looked like a scary movie. I asked to be... More

Stayed for 3 nights at the beginning of a touring holiday on the west coast. After getting our bags at San Diego airport we headed to the information desk to find out the best way to get to our hotel, they very helpfully called to order the hotels free shuttle service. It arrived promptly and took us straight to the... More

First the pros which out weigh the cons. 1) Clean, clean, clean. Even the pool area was spotless. 2) Recycle bin in bathroom 3) Great Wifi for free 4) Lots of restraunts within walking distance (little Italy). 5) San Diego Trolley 2 blocks away. 6) Ample parking for 10.00 nite. 7) Bed was extremely comfortably. 8) Bay within 3 minute... A 3 night stay on a road trip and wanted somewhere convenient in SD to do 3 main tours, and as such the location was good. Service was fine, and even when my travel agent forgot to giev me a voucher they were great about taking what I had and contacting the agent for me. The room also was good... More
