We wanted to see San Diego before went went on a Cruise,so we booked two nights. The staff were very friendly and recommended the step on step off Trolley Tour which we took the next day. Worth the fee. We did not arrive until 6 PM aftering travelling 15 hours. They picked us up at the airport. We ate right... more

The hotel had a great location. It was walking distance from enough city attractions/areas to keep us busy all week. The lobby and room was kept very clean, we were very impressed. A few downfalls were the view, we had a balcony that looked out to the top level of a parking garage, the restaurant was only open M-F for... more

Stayed here for 5 nights, 6 days Pros: Great location, reasonably good breakfast, reasonably clean Cons: Old towels (clean), old shower curtains (not-so-clean), hotel needs to be refurbished Problems: Reserved a Bayview room (for which they charge more) but the bathtub drain was not working properly - so ended up with 3 inches of water by the time I was... more

We had researched this place prior to arrival, and it duly lived up to expectations. Our cruise ended in San Diego, and we called the hotel at 9.00am asking if they could pick us up from the cruise ship terminal. The complimentary shuttle duly arrived about 10 minutes later, and drove us the short distance to the hotel. Although check-in... more

We loved this hotel!! We only stayed 1 night because we came for a day trip from Redondo Beach where we were staying at the Crowne Plaza. We chose this hotel because it was inexpensive and spur of the moment and our Redondo Beach hotel was paid for through the week, so we were budgeted on our San Diego stay.... more

I stayed here for two nights as part of a tour of the US. The hotel is clean and comfortable with large rooms. We had breakfast included which was reasonable but the dining room cannot accommodate everyone when the hotel is full so we had to eat outside. The hotel is well positioned if you plan to visit the ships... more

Walking distance to the USS Midway, easy trolley ride to Petco Park and Gas Lamp Quarter, and short bus ride to the Zoo, we sure enjoyed our 3-day stay here. Free shuttle to the airport and complimentary breakfast also made it easier on our budget! The staff was friendly and Shiela was especially helpful in showing us how to navigate... more
