This Residence Inn wasn't bad, but it wasn't up to par with the other Residence Inns that I have stayed at. The building was older and was poorly designed. The buildings are in pods and share one elevator which is a little annoying. The inside of the room was nice enough but the kitchen showed its age a little. Overall,... more

The most irritating thing about this hotel is the overbilling (which I have never experienced at a Marriott Hotel). (I am a Platinum Elite member.) I am staying for an extended period. Like all Marriotts, they said they would be billing when the account reached $1000. They have been doing that, but they have also been adding other unwarranted charges... more

We were in "hotel" captivity here for 54 days following the witch creek fire in October 2007. Very passive aggressive hotel, if you asked a question about billing, you would get a series of reminder calls asking you to extend your stay... at 2 AM!! If that didn't get you, they would double your rate, saying high inflex of guests,... more

We stayed in the hotel for 2 days. It was good, but did not quite meet our admittingly high expectations based on previous visits in other residence inn hotels. The property is a little bit dated, but clean. The breakfirst area is small and tends to get crowded. The food is good and the staff is very friendly. When we... more

Nice room. It has a fireplace, balcony, kitchenette, hide-a-bed sofa for the kids, and a regular bed for us. Nice feature: sliding doors to keep the noise from the kids (and the TV) on the other side of the room, so we could have some quiet and privacy. Near the pool and tennis court, there is a large table with... more

This is a nice hotel, tucked into a location near the freeway. The rooms are fine. Nice living space with a kitchen (no oven), a pocket door to separate the living space from the bedroom, and an OK sized bath. The staff are friendly and helpful. The downsides are: the common dining area where breakfast (so-so) is served is small.... more

Comfortable appartment with more facilities than I use. Spacious site, not a horrible tower block. Eating and bars within reasonable walking distance. Good breakfast range but not much fresh fruit, some days only apples. Wish they would put tea bags in the rooms but you can get them from the breakfast area. more

Great place to stay. Friendly front desk, the room was nice and clean and the location is very close to shopping and restaurants. Easy access to the freeway system. Would definitely stay here again, and will always stay in a Residence Inn if at all possible - they are great. Mrs. R, Omaha, NE more

We stayed at the Carmel Mountain Ranch Residence Inn (Rancho Bernardo area of San Diego) for two weeks while moving back to the US from Japan. We have a very lovable 130 lb. Great Dane and had a hard time finding a hotel that would allow a dog that size. Residence Inns allow dogs and don't have a weight limit.... more
