4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Stayed 4 nights, nice newly renovated room facing the hill, lobby also newly renovated. Young ladies at the counter were very friendly and helpful. Nice to see a dog friendly hotel! Hotel is right by the hwy so easy access to it. Shopping mall is right there , other side of hwy., Fashion Valley is only a very short drive... More

Wow. Super friendly staff that goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The food is great and the bar is entertaining. Front desk staff is friendly and the two valets I had the pleasure to meet, Juni and Bryndon are a big reason my team and I are making the Hilton Mission Valley our home away from... More

Thanks for such an awesome review TPM 750. I'm really happy the Juni and Bryndon made our hotel your new home away from home. They are rock stars. We look forward to your return and I hope to meet you personally. Mark More

A bit noisy, but that was due to a baby that cried all night. The hotel was booked so nothing could be done. Housekeeping was good, however the room was not cleaned until 3:30 when we called. I know it was busy, but this was inconvenient.

Thanks for the feedback Soccerfan130. I'm sorry about the baby and late cleaning of your room. Please let me know if you are returning to San Diego in the future. My email is mark.vancooney@hiltonmv.com. Sincerely, Mark More

The check-in was very efficient, and the hotel was nice. The room was typical, but it was clean. The receptionist mentioned the City view (faced the freeway) was noisy. We opted for the hillside view; it was quiet. Downside - The pool is rather small. And the beds were a bit softer than my preference, but they were OK.

Thanks for the comments Mike M. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay with us. I hope you try Polanco during your next visit. The food and drinks are amazing. Cheers, Mark More

The hotel itself is fine. Staff are friendly. Found wads of tissue stuck on the ceiling (guess the cleaning staff don't look up ....but why would they?). Once I complained they were removed. The location is OK if you have a car but beware there is a daily charge for parking. Don't bother with valet parking ....no need to pay... More

San Diego is critically short of hotel rooms and it shows. This hotel is a solid "B-" property and if there weren't already 2 Doubletrees nearby in Mission Valley, this would not measure up as a full fledged "Hilton". It is old (and like all Mission Valley hotels) tough to get to. This location is too far to easily walk... More

I was actually blown away, looked great, the food was VERY good and the Executive Suite breakfast room was really nice, I look forward to coming back. If there was anything that I didn't really like, I would have to say, it was the parking garage, felt very dark and parking places were very tight.

This is a recently remodeled Hilton. The rooms are modern, new and clean. No bathtub, but nice shower. They also allow dogs at the hotel, which I thought was very cool. The location is very central, but not really picturesque. The biggest issue is that the rooms that face the front of the hotel get a great deal of noise... More

We stayed here for a family trip over Memorial Day Weekend. Little did we know that there would be several club soccer teams staying with us as well. The hallways were rather noisy. Sunday afternoon the team took over the executive lounge quickly depleting the snacks. Our room was spacious and comfy. Parking was a bit of a problem. When... More

Convienent location, easy on and off freeway, clean rooms and beautiful contemporary lobby, nice friendly staff. Parking was steep, but this is Southern California...so don't think you can avoid that. I'd stay here again.
