Lucky D's was a very nice, clean hostel for our short stay in San Diego. Great location, lots restaurants and bars nearby! It also has lots of activities and programs inside and outside the hostel that you can do if you want, for low prices!

Lucky D's was a perfectly nice, clean hostel for our short stay in San Diego. Great location in the Gaslamp quarter, lots of bustling restaurants and bars nearby. Staff was friendly and more than willing to answer questions. Pleasant rooms, waking up to the fresh air each morning. Transportation to other areas of San Diego for beaches and such was... More

I really liked the place, it has a nice vibe and they take really good care of their guests. You can get rest, cook and there is also a lot of community among the guests which makes meeting people really easy.

I booked this hostel quite early as I knew that for comic con, accommodation would be snapped up fast and the prices weren't grossly inflated. The high rating didn't hurt either. Since staying there, I can say it's pretty average - not horrible, but not great. The room I got was awkwardly shaped so there wasn't nearly enough room for... More

not much to say for me. I had a couple of friends working there, but the whole stuff was very personable and friendly. many thanks to Giada and Erica for making the experience unique. the cleanest hostel I've ever been to. breakfast and a couple of dinners a week are included. really liked the atmosphere!

This hostel is very good, very cheap and in a perfect location. The breakfast is included and there is a common area to hang out with other people. The staff is very friendly. The wifi is in all the building and there is also an iPad that people can use to surf the internet.

Our stay in San Diego was very good, and it's thanks to Lucky D's Hostel. No expansive, clean, staff is young and welcoming. All evenings there is lots of people in the common room, to meet each other, discuss, drink and play alcohol games. And after everyone go together in the town, the hostel has some privileged prices in bars,... More
