We returned from six nights at the Homewood Suites and really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly and the dinners and breakfasts were suprisingly tasty. The room was clean with a view of the channel coming off the bay. We look forward to future stays at this hotel. more

I spent four days here for some training. I arrived very late and the hotel shuttle was done for the night. They reimbursed me for the cab fare from the airport. The breakfast was great. The hotel store was convenient. I spent a lot of time in the business center with work. Watch out because they re-boot after an hour... more

We recently returned from a 4 night stay at this property. If you're like me and appreciate a clean facility, this is the place to stay. Upon check in we were given room 168, which unfortunately was a bottom floor room in the south building with a window that faced a wall. They front desk graciously gave us another room... more

While i've certainly stayed at fancier and more luxurious hotels, i feel like this is the first hotel I've ever stayed at, that's really understood what it means to be hospitable. All employees that i've encountered during my two week stay were warm, welcoming and made me feel at home (especially gary, rachel and duncan). They're genuinely happy to help... more

We have just come back from 2 weeks in California of which 6 nights we spent in this hotel and what a great place to stay! A lovely hotel in a very attractive location we were really impressed with everything that this hotel has to offer. The rooms are fantastic and more like small apartments than hotel rooms. Ours was... more

We stayed for 8 days while my husband took a class in San Diego. The location was convenient to the downtown harbor, Sea World, Balboa Park/Zoo, the airport, and Point Loma. It took about 15 minutes or less by car to each location. The rooms are real suites as promised. A separate bedroom and living room/kitchen area. We got a... more

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and I must say it is one of the better places i've stayed anywhere. The morning breakfast is very nice and a different selection everyday. It does get crowded though. I would agree with a previous message about the air conditioning it is very loud. Also one other thing i'd mention there are... more

The San Diego Homewood Suites has been my favorite family hotel experience so far. The room layout really worked for me; there's a bedroom for the parents (with closet) and a living room with foldout couch, to which we added a cot. The breakfast is more than adequate, and the complimentary weekday dinner is really nice (if you're not a... more

Chose this hotel because of the ratings, was not dissapointed. Decided to get the two room suite for the few extra bucks, it helped with our 5 yr old daughter, who usually likes the "mama and papa" bed during our hotel stays. Both rooms were excellent, each with a complete bath and tv...etc Watch out for the taxis fares,it seemed... more

We spent 10 days in San Diego with my (elderly) parents and 2 boys. Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite, one with a king bed, one with a queen and a double sofa bed in the living area. 3 flat screen TVs, kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We had plenty of room for all of us. The staff were incredibly helpful... more
