I choose the Sofia because I wanted a hotel in/near the gaslamp district and it was the only one I was able to find for a reasonable price that wasn't a total dump. While the hotel is located right near the gaslamp there are definately some scary-ish homeless/crazies wandering around over there. But then again, they are also all over... more
