The Andaz San Diego was a treat for us, and we stayed here for three wonderful days and nights. We must admit to some initial worry about staying here. When you look at older reviews on Trip Advisor, you see plenty of people who are unhappy about the noise and the huge nightclub. We really started to think about moving... More

We live in the area and had a stay-cation with friends to celebrate a birthday. The hotel has a great vibe, awesome customer service, valet parking is high but so is parking in a lot in the area, the hotel is right in the heart of the gas lamp area so lots of fun around. The roof top bar scene... More

I was in San Diego for a weekend conference at the convention center and stayed at the Andaz. The hosts there are incredibly nice and helpful. The room was beautiful and luxurious. The rooftop pool and lounge is breathtaking. I wished that I was there on a girls weekend or with my husband because this hotel was perfect for late... More

We were nicely greeted upon arrival by Ben who also offered us a complimentary water/soft drink and we were able to unload our car right in front of the hotel. However, after asking about parking we learned that it was $37/night! Off to a public parking garage we went. The room was on the 6th floor with a great view... More

Right in the gas lamp, 10min walk to convention center, close to many bars and restaurants. The rooftop was amazing, calm in the morning, great breakfast, great to lounge in the morning, and great place to hangout for drinks in the evening.

My boyfriend was all about the Andaz based on experience at other locations. We paid $330/night for a tiny room with a view of a wall, no towel hooks and dirty lobby. The roof top deck was a nice alternative in the afternoon. With modifications, the menu was good, and the bar service was outstanding. The bar tender was the... More

We stayed at the Andaz San Diego recently for my son's wedding. I had four rooms within my immediate family. Of those four rooms, three of the final bills had charges that shouldn't have been there. One for $29 worth of breakfast, one for an $8 item on the minibar, and the worst one was a $76 charge for two... More

We had a room with 2 beds facing the back. All the rooms in the back form a square with a small open space (or small court) in the middle. Unless the room is on one of the top floors, all these rooms in the back receive no sunlight. Yes, no sunlight in San Diego!! You can also see all... More

Stayed at this hotel a couple of times. Clean rooms, but be aware some rooms are very dark as they look inwardly onto other rooms. Great location, minutes away from the GasLamp District. Roof top bar was great and the food reasonably priced. Limited amount of minibar goodies including juice, crisps and chocolate. Free glass of wine in reception after... More

Had an enjoyable one night stay at this property as I was down for a seminar. Room was hip and unique. Enjoyed the amenities and shower layout was nice. Excellent location minutes to The GasLamp District. Roof Bar was nice and the staff are friendly. Wish I could have stayed longer. Will be back!
