I went to LA to visit my brother. We had planned to see Sea World and the San Diego Zoo. I went on a wim and scheduled with Casa Granada. I accidently had the dates mistaked and showed up in San Diego a day early. I called and they said if I gave them some time. They would have the... More

Fantastic, clean, spacious, well-appointed, quiet, romantic and very relaxing studio suites inn located on Granada street in SD, CA. Room had wonderful balcony that overlooked Balboa Park where we had great breakfasts, afternoon drinks and restful soirees. Well appointed, quiet, clean and in very nice South Park neighborhood with Grant's gourmet market and new hip restaurants, bars in walking distance.... More

Whenever I go to San Diego I stay at this wonderful Guest House. Tucked away in a residential neighborhood abutting Balboa Park, the setting is very relaxing. Each suite has a full kitchen and living area as well as private bedroom area. This place is my " home away from home "-it used to be my little secret-but now the... More

This review is a bit late. I’ve finally got around to it. Unfortunately when I booked, the other bad review hadn’t been posted. I hope I’m not too late to warn a few more tourists. The scariest thing about staying here was the electrics. The lights would flicker constantly when they were on. Given the general run-down look of the... More

Mr. SmartAlec This guest had such an awful experience I am not sure where to start in addressing their concerns. I would like to state that I have no record of any guest from the Chicago area stay in the Jardin suite in July 2007 so I am can only assume this is a fictitious address to preclude me from... More

We stayed at the Casa Granada, Jardin Suite from July 4-6. We loved it. The interior is beautifully decorated, clean, spacious, much more then your typical hotel room. The Southpark section (which this is in) of San Diego is a wonderful area. It makes you feel like you're at home. Casa Granada is within 10-15 min. drive time to most... More

I write this in the lounge of Casa Granada Jardin Suite. I always read Trip Advisor reviews before I book anywhere to stay and for some unknown reason, no one listed the bad points about this place. Every 5 minutes a plane goes overhead, so low that you can almost see the pilot. The noise is extremely loud. You can... More

After spending 11 days at Casa Granada I have to say that it is one of the best inns in which I have ever had the pleasure of staying. I enjoyed both the Classico and Rojo suites and they were both exceptional places to stay. Both are extremely well decorated with nice furniture (antique and art-deco in the Classico and... More

We stayed here twice in a two week period, the first weekend in the El Classico suite, the second weekend in the Jardin suite. These are not typical B&Bs, as no one feeds you breakfast, but we loved them anyway. It was close to the park (but the main part of the park like the zoo or the museums was... More

My husband and I were in charge of finding a place to stay with two other couples who we were meeting in San Diego. When we stumbled on to Casa Granada and contacted Mark, we were hoping all would be as we had planned. Let me tell you, Casa Granada was more than we expected! We rented the whole house... More

My wife and I have developed a penchant for B&Bs. We've vowed never to stay in a traditional hotel again if it can be helped. When we were planning our anniversary trip to San Diego, I started with my usual research online. I used bedandbreakfast.com to try and find a B&B this time around beause I recieve some fringe compensation... More
