My partner and I stayed at Holiday House during our recent trip to San Diego. We chose a bed and breakfast to get away from our usual hotel stays. Holiday House was INCREDIBLE! Glory was welcoming, attentive, sweet, and worked hard to ensure that our stay was the best that it could be. Our room had soaring views of downtown... more

My wife had a birthday coming up so I decided to take her to Sea World and tour the city. We stayed in the Captain's Quarters which is the largest of the 3 rooms. The owner Glory did a perfect job of making us feel at home. She is a fun person to chat with and an excellent cook. Her... more

I suprised my husband with a vacation to San Diego and we stayed at Holiday House for a couple days. It was definitely better than I imagined. The view is amazing - overlooking the city, marinas, bay etc. Day or night it is breathtaking. We stayed in the captain's quarters which is very spacious and has the same great view... more

Our second time at Holioday House, and even better than we remembered! The hillside view of San Diego Harbor is breathtaking, day and night. You are close to everything at this location. The room , really a suite, was very clean and comfortable with a private bathroom. The decor, including wooden ceilings, reminds me of a luxury yacht. And the... more

We had an enjoyable stay at the Holiday House. The host, Glory, is accommodating and we were very comfortable. The views are outstanding and the location was central to all of the typical tourist sites (you need a car unless you are into extremely hilly hiking). We stayed in the Skippers Suite and we took a look at the Captains... more

One of the best bed & breakfasts that I ever stayed in. Great views of the harbor. I went for a short business trip (Sat - Tues) and stayed in the smallest of the three rooms. This room had its own private entrance just off the parking area. Glory was a great hostess, making huge breakfasts in the sunny great... more

We had a wonderful stay with Glory. We booked with only about a week's notice. Confirmation and excellent directions were sent. Our room, the Captain's Quarters, was spotlessly clean and smelled fresh. The view from the bedroom and living-room was stunning. The king-size bed was very comfortable and we had tons of pillows to choose from. We had cable TV... more

Our stay at Glory's Holiday House was just fabulous! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the view was amazing, and the breakfast was the best we have ever had in a B&B. Glory was a wonderful and helpful hostess. She told us where some excellent restaurants were, what each of the nearby beaches had to offer, and also told us... more

My family and I stayed at Holiday House for my son's graduation from MCRD. What a great place! It is located only 8 minutes from MCRD gate and an easy drive. We had the family suite and full access to the pool and hot tub. Not only does Holiday House have a family suite but also very private rooms for... more

I've spent quite a few nights at Glory's B&B, after falling in love with the view on visit #1. My absolute favorite is the corner room with its wraparound views, but the other rooms are wonderful too. The main reason to stay, however, is Glory herself. She'll feed you at odd hours, let you rummage the fridge, give you life... more
