After a very disappointing experience at another Wyndham resort we were not expecting the excellence we encountered here. Both my wife and I travel a lot for business as well as for leisure. We rarely give a hotel a five star rating - but this resort (a former boutique hotel in the middle of Downtown San Diego) deserves five stars... more

My husband and I stayed with the folks at the Harbor Lights in San Diego for two nights. We were treated like VIP's even though we were just visiting. My husband's friend came to town for a visit and we took a much needed 'staycation'. I had never spent much time in the Gaslamp District. I love watching the eclectic... more

This resort is really a converted hotel.. The hotel is in the so called ( trendy ) Gaslamp district it reminded me a little of the Rush Street area in Chicago with the bars & restaurants. But sadly, with many more HOMELESS people laying about on the sidewalks not too far off the hotel main entrance.. We didn't have a... more

We stayed at Wyndham @Harbor Lights from 9/24/07-9/28/07. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a nice change after camping in the N California parks and down the coast for 9 days. This is another stop on our 2007 Western Trip. See our earlier reviews. We had lots of adventures and breathtaking sights, and now we were ready for... more

This was our first visit to San Diego to see our Son RJ, we were not sure where to stay and he suggested the Gaslamp area. We chose Harbour Lights and were not disapointed. The staff was great, they bent over backwards to serve your needs, The room was beautiful and well set up and the location was perfect. We... more

We booked this through my parent's timeshare. Let me start by saying the facility is very nice and the employees were very friendly and helpful. However, I wish we would have read the previous reviews before we made plans to stay here. We had our toddler and preschooler with us and keeping them entertained while we were there was a... more

This hotel is part of my timeshare. The rooms was awesome, about 650 square feet, the hal kitchen had granite counter-tops, the room had a beautiful 32" HD TV, and the location was on 5th Ave. the best street in the Gaslamp district. My wife and I could not have been happier. Weldon, the concierege, provided us with great tips... more

We booked this resort through our timeshare. It is a great location for someone in San Diego on business, or even for a romantic weekend. However, my wife and I went with our daughter to see the sights in San Diego, and the hotel was not someplace I would ever stay again. To start, if you want to park at... more

The Wyndham Harbor Lights is in the trendy Gaslamp District of downtown San Diego. We were in San Diego for a convention, and the hotel was a short 10 minute walk away from the Convention Center. There are dozens of restaurants, shops and bars down 5th Ave. It's lively and loud all night long on the weekends. The hotel itself... more

I loved the location. This hotel is located in the perfect place. It is one block from the mall and close to countless places to eat, party, and shop. It is located one block from the trolley service and directly on the bus line. This hotel is the perfect location for someone that has never been to San Diego...everything is... more
