We chose Bankers Hill Manor on the strength of the reviews on here, and it lived up to the amazing reviews, and more! We stayed for 13 nights in the Africa Suite. The house is large but comfortable, and the communal areas are very tasteful and relaxing. The computer (although slow!) was brilliant and allowed us to contact family, and... More

This was our 3rd stay at Bankers Hill Manor, and we can't praise it enough! It's an early 20th century mansion, tastefully brought up to date, with 2 lovely suites and a 3rd smaller (but still ample-sized) room. The common room upstairs is very comfortable, with a computer for the use of the guests, and leather couches for reading or... More

I would recommend Banker Hill Manor to my best friend, it was convenient, quiet and my first consideration, clean. The owners were friendly but not in your face. We only had breakfast there two days but it was good and organic. The bedding was very nice and we rented the Tropics room which was huge. It could use an upgrade... More

We were looking for an alternative to a large hotel, and decided on Bankers Hill based on the many favorable reviews. We were not disappoined. The inn features only three rooms and we were the only guests for the weekend. The building is a California Craftsman home buily in 1919, but beautifully restored. The downstairs rooms inculde a large living... More

In San Diego to attend a wedding, my husband, adult daughter & I chose Banker Hill Manor (rather than one of the more popular Hotels that other out-of-town wedding guests had chosen) for our SD accomodations because BHM was hopefully going to simulate a "home-coming." That is, my husband had grown-up just blocks away ( in the 50s) in a... More

We stayed in Bankers Hill Manor for 2 nights in the Tropics Suite. The room was very large with a 4 poster bed, a sitting area and a separate entrance onto the patio. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. Linda and Terry a great hosts. Linda likes to talk about ballet which is noy surprising since she used to... More

My stay at the Bankers Hill Manor with Linda and Terry was enchanting. Every morning Terry asked how I was and I would reply that I felt like Cinderella. Every detail was attended to first-class without being pretentious. They have the capacity for making their guests feel extremely comfortable. There were neither awkward moments nor pretentious babble at the breakfast... More

This Manor is a great getaway in the heart of San Diego. The accomodations were wonderful, very relaxing, and with great views of the city. The food was great as well. Hats off to Linda, a truly talented and inventive chef. My husband and I truly enjoyed ourselves, whether it was driving to nearby downtown, walking to the park, or... More

Thanks to everyone's great ratings on TripAdvisor, my wife and I booked a 3 night stay for Jan 1-4, 2009. This B&B is perfectly located within a couple blocks of Balboa Park. Free parking is available inside their gated property. The guest rooms are huge and the entire house is beautifully decorated. Terry & Linda go out of their way... More

What can I say that hasn't already been said by other reviewers? Linda and Terry ensure that your stay in their beautiful home is first class all the way - their hospitality is second to none . Loved it!
