Like others, the price they charge for parking. $30/day. Our entire 3 day stay the lot was maybe 1/5 filled. I believe owners of WorldMark should get free or at a competitive price compared to neighboring lots. They said that I could get a "WorldMark Discount Rate" to a lot 3 blocks away. Umm.... How about a "WorldMark Discount Rate"... More

The parking was ridiculous - they had a small lot and wanted to charge a fortune. We drove around the building and found street parking on the north of the building (for free, yay). We didn't dare move our car that evening because i'm not sure we would have found anything else. The room was clean. The kitchenette was really... More

Although the room and building were nice, it is not worth the cost to park. It is $30 per night. Ridiculous. There is a public lot a block away that costs $15 for 24 hours, but the lot is not attended and you have to pass lots of homeless people when walking back to the hotel. The area does not... More

This lovely hotel is perfectly located for exploring the Balboa Park area. It's literally across the street from the park. The museums and zoo were several blocks away, but our family found it a pleasant walk to and from our cozy home base. The hotel sits on 5th Ave -- which is lined with great brunch and dinner options (Hash... More

We stayed here for 7 nights in April, our stay was an exchange we did through our holiday club. Upon arrival we were greeted by lovely, friendly and helpful hotel staff. Our studio room was nicely presented, quite spacious, clean and tidy, well appointed and with no smells. The air conditioner worked well. The room had a full kitchen, which... More

We went to San Diego for a wedding and stayed here with my parents time share points. I don't think this is best for a family as I have 2 small children. There is no where for them to play on property or to even go outside. Our room was nice but a little small for us. We were able... More

Came early for a conference, I am a Worldmark owner and we were able to get a 1 bedroom on bonus time- it met our needs just fine- really enjoyed the rooftop deck in the evenings, would sit up there with our beverages and enjoy the view- the kitchen was small but fine- didn't really cook, the location is good-... My wife and I have stayed at this location a handful of times over the past few years and we always trade in using our timeshare. We are Wyndham owners and since they have bought out Worldmark, the changes to the property amenities and charges have been noticeable. The staff are very nice and the rooms newly upgraded however, they... More

I went for Christmas, and used my time share, The front desk service was great. I got a studio room which was ok, dark but clean. Our room was on the corner so the some street noise. The roof top deck is great, but missing a hot tub for sure. This was not worth it for me, I rather spend... More

We visited during Thanksgiving week with our 1 year old and stayed in a studio room. Aside from the awkward parking and lack of breakfast options we were very pleased with the hotel. The room was spacious and located conveniently close to balboa park. The only real complaint was the city noises at night with a one year old. But... More
