Good service. They took care of a couple simple requests that I had made prior to arrival. The pool and hot tub are simple but relaxing. Parking is tight but the garage handles the overflow. Could use HD TV's

I stayed here for a week from July 20th to 25th for a work conference - knowing my travel department, I wasn't expecting much, and this was a pretty basic hotel. I stayed in a 2 queen room in the second building (the one that has the breakfast room - although I never did do the continental breakfast). First the... More

This LQ is in a great, central location for visitors to San Diego. Breakfast is not worth reviewing. Suites are nice but a bit pricey. But, it is San Diego. Location, location, location. And, it was Summer. Exterior is deceiving. The rooms are nicer than the hotel looks, especially the suites.

You have to pay for parking and their was not enough parking for me to park. A/C extremely loud, you can hear every toilet flush in the building, not full breakfast. they spring the parking fee and extra fees on you. staff too busy to bring extra blankets.

This is a $100.00 hotel max IMO. Paid over $180.00 in July. SD is popular but this place is old and basic. Do not know if it is franchise or corporate, but it is financing a very nice life for the owner. $8.00 parking fee is strange. Put some money back into this place and be fair and charge perhaps... Dear Richard55555, Thank you for taking the time to review La Quinta Inn and Suites San Diego. I am sorry to hear of year dissatisfaction with the pricing during July. This is, in fact peak season with such events as Comic Con, and we are priced in line with the market, and considerably less than our neighboring hotels. We hope... More

King Suites are very nice and spacious, has refrigerator and microwave and pull out sofa for sleeping, perfect for two kids. Near all tourist attractions within minutes. Breakfast pretty good staff quick at restocking.

My husband and I stayed here with our 3 young children while we were visiting seaworld and the beach July 27, 28, and 29. I was very hesitant based on several reviews, but I wanted a place that was under or around $200 per night. After booking, I kept telling my husband I was worried I had made a big... More

My brother, friend and I stayed here for 4 nights for Comic-Con. It's a good value and was very clean but cons are the location. It's too far to walk to any restaurants and to get to the MTS trolley line. I left like it was a dead zone. Also when checking out the man at the desk told me... More

Dear Laurie L., Thank you for your kinds words regarding our Hotel. I apologize for your experience on check-out and want to assure you that this is not a normal occurrence. We stayed here while I attended a conference. Great location to get to most tourist attractions. Beds were good. Staff friendly. AC worked well. Parking is bad. There is an $8 a night fee to park in tiny spaces. My wife hit a column in the garage trying to pull out one night. The cable tv is horrible. Fuzzy and... More

This is not a good place to stay. Avoid it at all costs. First the parking spaces are very narrow. Those of us with full size SUVs are in trouble. Parking is $8/night. Since when do motels charge for parking? The room they gave me was hot and stuffy when I arrived. The A/C in the bedroom worked, the A/C... More
