We stayed at the hotel at the end of a family trip to Disneyland b/c my husband had work to do in SD. I chose primarily because of the kitchenette as I didn't want to eat out alone with 2 small children. For that purpose, it was a fine hotel. The breakfast in the morning served it's purpose as well,... more

This is a very nice hotel with great amenities - except that there was no direct pathway from our room to the lobby and eating area. It is a large facility with multiple hallways and elevators and we usually ended up going out to the parking lot and walking around to the lobby door to get to breakfast or the... more

We've stayed at many Residence Inns so we expected this one to be just as good as the others, unfortunately, it wasn't. The Pros – Nice setting with palm trees and a few flowers. Easy access to/from freeway. The Cons – Grungy bathtub. Carpet not laid nicely. There were ripples and there were a few times where we could have... more

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff could not have been more accommodating. We requested an early check in, and we actually got it!!! We requested a crib for our 6 month old, which wasn't in the room because of the early check in, but was delivered within 5 minutes of our arrival. The breakfast buffet was... more

The rooms were clean but a little old looking and could use some updating. I was traveling with my husband ,a 4 yr old and a 6 yr old. The only real problem was the thin walls. We could hear EVERYTHING going on in the the hallway and above us. Usually this isn't such a big deal, but there was... more

Stayed for six nights in Feb '09. I was surprised to hear this was new construction. It looks nice but nothing deluxe. Standard hotel grade furniture, nothing special. Clean room. Moderately sized. It was nice having a kitchen but not nice smelling everyone's dinner all throughout the hallways. The walls are very thin and it's easy to hear your neighbors'... more

Stayed from Jan10-18/09 for a business&pleasure combined trip. Very friendly & helpful staff-eating area & cleaning staff always smiling & asking if you need anything. Our King suite was spotless & cleaned every day. They even did cute things with the towels (not towel animals) Stayed in Rm 307. View of the parking lot-who cares? I don't spend my days... more

I stayed here with my family (60+ year old mother, me (mid-30s) and son (age 5) for 5-nights. I travel often and try to stay exclusively at Marriott properties since I am a Silver member and enjoy getting the Continental frequent flyer miles. I had a great rate (using AAA discount) for a one-bedroom suite (with 2 queen beds) -... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 8 days and could not get the room cleaned to save our lives. My wife complained at least 4 times. The maid would come in and change towels but never cleaned the mirrors or vacuumed. The rooms were on the small side for a suite and there was only 2 inches... more

Hotel was conveniently located to everything we needed. In town for a concert in Chula Vista, we decided to stay in a more "touristy" area. Breakfast was really very good with plenty of seating. Staff was exceptionally friendly. Night time security guard was very nice. Paying for parking was ridiculous though. 10 dollars per night is way out of line.... more
