This was a nice property and good value for the money. It was a great jumping off point for Mission Valley and Coronado and San Diego overall. The staff were very pleasant -- front desk and housekeeping. Breakfast was fine -- and the bed was comfortable. I'd stay here again.

The rooms were odd and not comfortable. The beds were so hard I had bruised hips the next day. It's WAY over priced for what you get and the front desk wouldn't confront the man running a marathon all night in the room above us or the group "partying" til 3am next door. They were nice enough to move us... More

Stayed our last nite in California at this hotel. It is an older property, but well maintained, and they treated us very kindly. We appreciated them.

We are two adults age 50+. We wanted to stay on Point Loma to be close to our sightseeing options. We wanted free parking, a good breakfast, and hopefully WI-FI, all at a decent price. This place was great for us. We even got a free newspaper every weekday. We stayed just over a week. We started our day with... More

Thank you for the great review on Trip Advisor. We are happy that you enjoyed your stay at Comfort Inn At The Harbor. Point Loma is a great location for sightseeing - Shelter Island, the light house, Cabrillo National Monument and tide pools. There are also very good restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel. Our "morning breakfast" does... More

We chose this inn primarilly because of it's cost (comparible to other options & factoring free parking) and location - it is within 10 minutes of the airport and convennient to freeways. This inn is not a choice for light sleepers: the inn is right on North Harbor between 2 busy intersections and traffic noise is constant. We prebooked 3... More

I arrived for a 3 night stay at this hotel and was pleased by the friendliness of the staff working here. I went to my room and found an unusually laid out, but generally not bad little room with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was small, but functional and appeared clean. The second night there, I ordered a pizza. I put... More

This hotel was a huge disappointment. For the price ($89.95/night) we had way better accommodations on our recent 3 week tour of CA, AZ, UT and CO. The room appeared to have been furnished with items from local second-hand shops. Furniture was arranged helter-skelter. WI-FI was marginal to non-existent. The room smelled bad.I would not stay here again, and I... More

This is an older Comfort Inn property with modest, clean rooms within steps of the harbor and fine restaurants (we particularly enjoyed the Pizza Nova) and convenience of a Navy Exchange (NEX) four short blocks away. What truly makes it a delight is "A.J. and Tim" at reception who were extremely friendly, courteous and highly articulate. Both of these gentlemen... More

The staff and I are extremely happy you enjoyed your stay with us. The Point Loma area has a very good selection of restaurants and many are within walking distance of the hotel. Pizza Nova is one of my favorites, the Artichoke Dip is delicious. I hope you had a wonderful time on your trip to Hawaii. We look forward... More
