Recently stayed here on a business trip. Front desk was very friendly and check-in was quick. Room was nice, good size and very clean with lots of amenities such as snacks and drinks if you wanted to pay for them. A nice window nook to get work done in. Downside is that there is only valet parking at the hotel... More

My work has selected W as a preferred chain so I usually stay @W San Diego when in town. Over the past 4 years, it's been probably 24nts/16 stays here; this is my first review of the property. The location is either good or acceptable, depending on your interests. There's really nothing touristy within 3 blocks, so it feels a... More

This was a brilliant hotel. I loved that the entrance atrium turned into nightclub on the weekend. I heard no noise from my room. It was clean and lovely and we had a great time. There was even a cool beach top terrace! Highly recommend it!

The pool area is the size of a bathroom. Don't let the pictures fool you, even the bartender said it's a huge complaint. The front desk and the " manager " need a customer service class! The shower in our room is very tiny also! Everything was very clean. Definitely not a destination for party at the pool or rooftop

I was wasting some time before dinner and wanted to have a drink. Bianca was my server and she recommended the lemon grass martini. Needless to say the drink was amazing! I loved it! Bianca was attentive and was very hospitable. The experience thus far has been great. Keep up the good work.

We were eating in the restaurant with a huge wedding party. I think the party grew to be much larger than they expected. It was a bit chaotic but Manny was very attentive to our needs. We were really impressed by his service!

My boyfriend and I were in town for the weekend for his birthday, recently— and stayed at The W. The hotel had a great vibe. I loved the trendy design of the Living Room and the upbeat music that was playing when we walked in. We arrived a bit earlier than the usual check-in time. The front desk staff was... More

DANIELLE and JEFFREY are the BEST! They were so incredibly helpful and kind in every way. I was so overjoyed at how easy they made everything. Anything I needed, they were there 100% of the time. They were so accommodating to all our needs, and as stressed out and crazy things got, they were always there with a quick solution.... More

Stylish is the work I would choose to describe this boutique hotel in downtown San Diego. Coming in off the highway it is easy to find. It is not in the Gas Lamp district, but is only about a 15 minute walk away through safe and interesting streets. It is only a few blocks from the Santa Fe Terminal –... More

I went to the rooftop bar with a few friends at 2:30 on July 9 this year (we didn't stay at the hotel). We were greeted by who we thought was the bartender, Shelly Britain. We ordered our drinks, not knowing the bar didn't open till 3:00. Shelly was so accommodating and friendly and never told us the bar was... More
