Down for some North Park area construction for a week. This is a little out of the tourista way and in a residential neighborhood, but also next to the 8. Close to Qualcom, Costco, Home Depot, the usual boxes. Perfect for a less expensive basic venue. Newer rehabbed room, but it's a 50's era exterior corridor over parking kind of... More

Hi Labmeister, Thank you for your review. My staff and I like to hear about our guests experience and insights on the property. I hope you enjoyed the breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so waffles, pastries, breads and cereal are a great way to carb load for the day! We hope to see you next... More

We had an awesome stay at this motel. The rooms were just fine, nice looking and clean. I liked the granite surfaces very much, as well as the beautiful tub enclosures. Everything worked fine. The staff was very cordial and cheerful, and when I called to make reservations, Hina was very nice and extremely helpful. The maintenance man was very... More

Thank you for your review. My staff and I are happy to see you enjoyed your stay. They are very high spirited and bring a lot of their personality to the overall experience of the hotel. Even with all your positive comments, I would still like to work on areas that did not meet your expectations. I will look into... More

My wife and I have stayed at this motel on three different occasions and have yet to be disappointed. The rooms are somewhat small but very clean and comfortable. The refrigerator, microwave, and flat screen TV combine to provide us with a home away from home when we visit the San Diego area. The breakfast area is a little tight... More

Thank you for your wonderful comments! I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your trip to San Diego and we could be your "home away from home." Next time for breakfast, I recommend enjoying your waffles outside by the pool where there is a cool breeze. See you next time! More

my husband and I stopped here for one night to attend a concert at Cal Coast. The outside is super misleading. The room inside looked like a 4 star hotel. The staff was quite friendly, prompt and nice. We would definitely recommend!

If you are looking for a comfortable, quiet, place to stay at an affordable price this is your place. The room is not huge, but it has a king size bed in it. It also has a fride and microwave. The bathroom is small, but everything looks clean and recently improved. The bed was nice and comfortable and the whole... More

Great service and perfect for what we wanted. It wasn't huge but we didn't need much space as we weren't in San Diego to be in our hotel room all night. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, clean, safe room for the night/weekend.

Where do I begin! I stayed in this place between May 28th and May 30th. I almost never complain but this is one place I must warn you about. All rooms open to the outside rather than into a hotel lobby for that matter. This part is uncontrollable from the staff and I must have missed it from previous reviewers.... More

Good price, good rooms and good service. The breakfast is also very good. I have nothing bad to say about my stay there. It was just the place I was looking for to relax a little bit while I was on a road trip.
