First don't expect 4 star hotel. It is not that. But do expect great customer service and a large clean room with the light switches to the bathroom in the bathroom ( a pet peeve of my bf is the light switches outside the door. Imperial beach is your classic sleepy beach town. The beach with the boardwalk are about... More

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much for $80/night. When I opened the door to my room, an incredibly comfortable living arrangement was before me. Fairly comfy beds, modern table with two chairs, big-screen tv and remote, minifridge, microwave, coffee pot (with coffee/cups/cream/sugar/stir straw), blow dryer, conditioning shampoo, bar soaps, and of course the standard ice bucket (with lid) and... After a 12 hour drive we were looking forward to a clean smoke free room. Not so much. We were greeted by the front desk clerk. Very rude and hacking smoking stinking smelly disrespectful woman. Once we got paste the clerk we found our room to be dirty and completely permeated with smoke. We are not talking a small faint... More

It's not a hotel, but a motel. As any other one, if you want only sleep, is a good choice. Don't have to much to do near, only a Mall with Walmart, CVS and other helpful stores and restaurants. Cheap and near the mexican border.

The hallways remind me of the shining movie. It has what a basic hotel should have, even if it was not "top class" it was good for the trip for the days we as a group used it for. If you just need a get a way place and aren't looking for a "special high dollar" place this is it.... More

When we first got into our room - i was not too happy, the walls needed cleaning and furniture looked old, we where exhausted from a long day at Sea World so we wanted to lay down to sleep. Well that is when we saw..........................Bed Bugs.......or a bed bug crawling up the wall, when we looked at the mattress there... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at this motel for the San Diego Comic Con. Overall, it was a positive experience. The rate was very reasonable, the room was nearly spotless, and the staff (front desk and housekeeping) were all very friendly and helpful. Even though it's not in the best of neighborhoods, the hotel itself and even it's parking lot... More
