This is an older property that needs some updating, but given the surrounding Old Town, it has a quirky charm about it. Pros: free shuttle to the airport from 3:00 P.M. To 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, I was only there overnight to catch a flight, so I didn't get a chance to really see the neighborhood. Front desk was very friendly... More

Over priced rooms and an extra $17 for parking to boot., A/C control in the Suite did not function and had maintenance come to program it. No continental breakfast but they offer a $5.00 bowl of cereal. Pass on this outdated location unless you want a hard bed and want to pay for items that are complementary at hotels with... More

Dear Tony P, Thank you for providing us with your feedback about your stay. I do apologize for the AC problem you had and will be sure to address it with my engineering staff. Just for future reference the Courtyard brand has and will never offer a free breakfast. We have just put in our Bistro concept and many guests... More

Hotel is located two blocks from Old Town and a short walk to the trolley station and buses - the rooms are good sized and there was an enormous flat screen in our room - I am guessing around a 47 inch - only bad part is that you have to pay $17 to park your car in the garage... More

This hotel is 2 blocks from the main street (San Diego St) in Old Town. Everything is within walking distance and it is only 4 blocks from the Old Town Trolley ticket booth where you start your ride. There is a restaurant with a bar inside. Small pool and outside seating to eat you food or a drink. Rooms are... More

My whole family was in town for the funeral of my mother and although we know San Diego very well, we were sort of adrift on accommodations. This hotel was fantastic for us. Our rooms were in the annex building (v nice) and they have a lovely enclosed patio area off from the pool and bar. We were welcome to... More

I checked into this hotel on business and the first thing I noticed was that on the second floor there was a first floor roof outside my window. I'm pretty security conscious because I travel often, and sometimes to dangerous countries so always check the windows. Noticed this room had a very small "lock" that was based on a small... More

I am sorry that your lock was not sufficient on your room and have already informed my Engineering department and it will be taken care of today! I am glad you found our staff to great and... More

we were surprised how quiet were the rooms though hotel is on the intersection of very busy streets. The lobby looks updated but we did not sent much time there. Also, they have convenient tables/ chairs in the patio, benches everywhere. Step out of the premises - and you are in a bustling district with restaurants, bars and shops, minutes... More

You can tell that the hotel is old when you look at the elevator, paint, and ceiling which is a bit worn. That being said it jas been remodeled and the fixtures are new. Location and service were great. I would stay there again.

I have stayed in this property many times on business trips. Without a doubt, the staff at this hotel exceed my expectations every single visit! Always pleasant, always professional, always helpful. They always find a way to accommodate every business need, no matter how big or small. I only wish I can clone this service at every other hotel I... More

It's a good hotel for a weekend getaway or for a short business trip. They have a modern lobby with a little breakfast and coffee. I won't recommend order breakfast there. You better off with waffle place down the street. $10 for parking overnight. Pool is decent. Room is clean and staff is friendly.
