I wanted to Thank Samantha at the front desk for all she did for me and my daughter "the problem child". Samantha and the staff went over and above to help our stay to be more than comfortable. I recomend the Old Town Marriot Courtyard and can't wait to go to San Diego and stay there again.

This hotel is quaint. Perfect Old Towne location. Pretty grounds but built on a hillside so lots of stairs. Parking was limited. Pool area was ok (had a good view). Room was clean. Rate was fair. I stay in S.D. at least once a year & I really like the Spanish feel to this hotel, as opposed to many others... More

It was in a good location. Within walking distance of lots of good restaurants in Old Town. But there isn't much else close by. I stayed here for about a week. No nearby fast food or chain restaurants when I wanted to try something different. I was in a small annex building with about 8 rooms down on the street.... More

Pros: Wonderful staff - 1st room was on the highway side so noisy. Changed us to a parking lot room the next day at our request. Comfortable king bed, bathroom separated by wall from bedroom which I always like, sink outside bathroom which I also like, good temperature control, had a bar with nice sitting area. Cons: dated decor, wine... More

Packed in to a residential neighborhood right off the 405 two blocks from Old Towne. The rooms are on the smaller side but clean and fairly new. Small pool and workout room. Nice lobby. There is parking under the building and I could not hear the highway from the room.

Upon arriving, the lobby is well appointed. However, the rooms do not match. The rooms need to be refurbished. although, the hotel is close to Old Town, there are other hotels in the area that are better. I am not one that prefers enclosed halls in hotels unless they are well appointed. This hotel does need to have some work... More

Dear PA_Pat_in_Chalfont, Thank you for taking the time to provide us your personal feedback about your stay at the Courtyard Old Town. I am so glad you found the location to be convenient as well as the food to be better than you expected! We do have our hallways enclosed for security reasons so I do apologize if that was... More

Very basic room. Was difficult to moderate the AC. We were gone most of the day, got back at 3:30 pm and room had not been cleaned. Great access to I-5, downtown and beaches. Bar/cafe has been upgraded like most Courtyards and is very nice.

This is an older property that needs some updating, but given the surrounding Old Town, it has a quirky charm about it. Pros: free shuttle to the airport from 3:00 P.M. To 9:00 PM. Unfortunately, I was only there overnight to catch a flight, so I didn't get a chance to really see the neighborhood. Front desk was very friendly... More

Over priced rooms and an extra $17 for parking to boot., A/C control in the Suite did not function and had maintenance come to program it. No continental breakfast but they offer a $5.00 bowl of cereal. Pass on this outdated location unless you want a hard bed and want to pay for items that are complementary at hotels with... More

Dear Tony P, Thank you for providing us with your feedback about your stay. I do apologize for the AC problem you had and will be sure to address it with my engineering staff. Just for future reference the Courtyard brand has and will never offer a free breakfast. We have just put in our Bistro concept and many guests... More

Hotel is located two blocks from Old Town and a short walk to the trolley station and buses - the rooms are good sized and there was an enormous flat screen in our room - I am guessing around a 47 inch - only bad part is that you have to pay $17 to park your car in the garage... More
