The hotel was nice and staff was very friendly . It was unfortunate that the renovations we're going on while operating . They should keep guest away from construction. We were awaken with pounding and drilling noises . Also elavators were closed to guest and only construction workers could use them. Not cool when your rooms on the top floor.... More

Thank you so much for sharing! I am so happy that you enjoyed the hotel and the staff during your visit. I know that things are a bit hectic around here with all of the renovation and repairs from the flooding. We do try to minimize the impact to our guests the best we can and I am sorry that... More

Already the lobby was partially concealed by plastic because of works. We were told to park the car in the upper garage. Three cars with guests waiting, no key worked. All to the reception, re-register the key, still not works. After 10 minutes "engineer" shows up, his master key also not. Another five minutes they manage to open, all drive... More

This hotel is undergoing a major renovation. Half of the rooms on every floor are under construction. The picture I posted was the room right next door to mine. I asked to be moved to a new room because mine had not been renovated yet which meant it was covered in construction dust, smelt like moldy mildew mixed with a... More

The rooms themselves are not bad, but getting there the place looks and smells terrible in the hallways. Not really in the best area of town either. Homeless people milling about on the sidewalk and parking garage outside of the hotel. I would not feel comfortable as a single woman walking outside by myself in the dark. Lobby wasn't too... More

The Courtyard is going through a major renovation. I received an email alerting me to the fact, which was great. I've stayed there before. The rooms were dated back then. The room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. The tv was huge. The mini refrigerator in the from was very convenient. The room has a Keurig coffee maker. The sink... More

This has to be the worst experience ever. Walking into the hotel we noticed right away an odor. It was very musty, the walls were dirty and the wallpaper was peeling off. We booked online and did not get what was advertised. The sofa sleeper was terrible, rundown and uncomfortable. The room came with one washcloth for three adults. We... More

The rooms were clean, the restaurant was convenient for a late dinner when I arrived first night, and had good breakfast. The location was excellent, within walking distance to all the restaurants and shops of old town,

We are huge Marriott users and the trip started rather challenged by the IT and the Internet not connecting. We knew it was our computer but the IT provider was less than helpful We finally got it to work after 2 hours. The staff at the front desk tried and was somewhat helpful. Other than that the hotel is going... More

Stayed here for one night before an early morning flight from San Diego International Airport. The location is close to the airport, just off of I-5 in Old Town. We frequently stay at Courtyards when on road trips and they are a reliable brand with reasonably high standards for cleanliness and a consistent experience for a good price. We checked... More

Stayed here for our son's graduation from MCRD. The hotel is under a major renovation - and it would have been nice if they told us about it before we decided to stay here. Only one elevator to use, limited parking, staff is way overburdened and not readily available, and the rooms, while clean have really old furnishings that need... More
