A stay at a Courtyard means one has an expectation of a consistent level of convenience, comfort, and cleanliness. This Courtyard did not disappoint. From the quick shuttle pick-up at the airport to the warm greeting by the Front Desk staff, service was faultless. Joseph, the shuttle driver, provided a quick orientation to the hotel's location relative to the main... More

e stayed here for 4 nights and really enjoyed our stay. It was the first time had stayed in a Courtyard. The hotel was full and at $150 plus tax I thought the room we had in the annex on our first night was only just OK as value for money. There was some corridor noise as we were near the... More

Room by freeway extremely noisy, parked on street as did most other patrons $15.00 to park in garage no free parking or breakfast as do most other hotels close bye.. Paper thin walls can hear everyone in hallways... Pick another hotel for sure

Great service from the check-in staff, managers, shuttle drivers and restaurant. This hotel met all of my needs with easy 2 blocks away access from the main drag of Old Town, 1/2 mile away from the Amtrak station. The shuttle was the reason I booked this hotel in Old Town and the service was great. I informed the hotel staff... More

We stayed at the Courtyard during our visit to San Diego last April 2012. We chose this hotel because of its reasonable rates and proximity to Sea World (about 7 to 10 minutes drive). It's two blocks away from the historic Old Town. The hotel is found in a residential area so aside from Old Town which can be accessed... More

Pros: Good transfer from airport. Staff friendly and helpful. Limited menu at bistro but food quite good and excellently presented. Plenty of good Mexican restaurants nearby. Free wi fi. Room is good standard. Cons: pool not very accessible, no changing facilities. Didn't see it in use. Pricey for what is provided. Would be better with an inclusive self service type... More

Arthur W, Thank you so much for staying with us. We are glad to see that you took advantage of our complimentary airport shuttle and our convenient location to Old Town. Old Town does feature some of the best and most authentic Mexican food you can find. We understand that our swimming pool is not a resort size pool, however... More

The staff make this hotel, they are extremely friendly and you will receive a truly warm welcome. It is quite noisy my room looks directly onto the freeway and I can hear my neighbors. Good vacation hotel, not so good for business.

Avoid this hotel if you want to get a good night's sleep. Internal noise from other rooms was a major issue as walls and floors are paper thin, and they clearly haven't heard of soft closing doors. There was a loud bang and the whole building shook whenever someone closed a door nearby (I was in room 267 in one... More

This property is in a great central location to visit San Diego. There are no views here, its more residential, but it's right next to the 5 and 805 freeways and two blocks from historic old town with great restaurants. It's a short hop to Sea World and Mission Bay with the tram close by and short drive to the zoo.
