Very nice rooms, good coffee to make from the pads they leave in the room. Nice breakfast also, and staff efficiently took care of the requests I had - nothing special, but there was no problem at all. Shuttle to the airport did not run when leaving, but they paid for a taxi instead.

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Our room overlooked the freeway which initially concerned us but you really didnt hear much traffic at all. Lovely bar and restaurant area although the dinner we had here was only so so. Great pool for adults and kids alike. Walking distance to Old Town tourist area with lots of great restaurants and... Dear Nerida S, Thank you for your comments. We have taken extra measures to triple pain our windows as we realize our hotel is close to the freeway and some rooms may be affected by it. I am so glad to hear that our extra steps we took to soudproof the windows worked. Sincerely, Steve Pastor Genearl Manager More

We were recently at this hotel . It was very nice, had a comfortable bed and was close walking distance to the Old town restaurants and bars. But here is the best part. I had forgotten to check the closet, before we left. I called a few days later to ask, them about a nice shirt I had left in the closet.... More

I stayed here as part of a group from 23rd February to 28th February and while it was quite pleasant our encounter at the end left me with a very sour taste. Two of us had arranged for the shuttle to leave us at the airport at 08.00am.We arrived to reception at 07.50 and after waiting for 15 minutes I approached... My first impression of the hotel was that it had been nicely renovated. There is a eatery in the hotel where you can purchase Starbucks coffee and other food. When we first checked in there was only one elevator working and there were no signs pointing to the stairs as option up to our room. The room was a little... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for posting your review and sharing your feedback with us. I am happy that you enjoyed the lobby area and Bistro setting where you can enjoy a Starbuck's. Street parking can be difficult to find in Old Town therefore we do have our 3 gated and secure garages for $15 that can be used by our... More

The hotel room was dirty. The bathroom sink was not in the bathroom. The carpet dirty. It is convenient that there is an airport shuttle, but the shuttle claims to leave at a certain time and then stops at all the other Marriott hotels in the area. So if you are planning to use it, account for this (say 15-30... More

Courtyards for the most part are cookie cutter same. However there are a handfull that occupy older/historic/unique buildings that have the potential to provide a really neat and different experience. Some work well (for example in Denver downtown), and some don't work quite so well. This one falls in the not so great category. As far as being clean, friendly... More

Being a Marriott rewards member I felt I needed to write this review to warn people to not stay here. It's close to airport but that is all. Upon arriving the bathroom was not cleaned and there was black stains in the bathtub. Upon calling front desk they said sorry would you like another room, we only have first floor... More

Near the Old Town area, and with easy access to the highway, by the airport. Even though it's near the airport, I didn't have any noise complaints. Staff was good, and had a bad iron replaced in 10 minutes + a delivery of shaving cream that I forgot to pack. The $15 per night garage parking is a rip off,... More

Me and my family stayed here because it was right in Old Town. We only stayed 1 night because there wasn't a lot of "kid friendly" things to do there other than the San Diego Zoo. The first day we did the San Diego Zoo and the 2nd day we did the Safari Park that was about 40 minutes away.... More
