You can tell that the hotel is old when you look at the elevator, paint, and ceiling which is a bit worn. That being said it jas been remodeled and the fixtures are new. Location and service were great. I would stay there again.

I have stayed in this property many times on business trips. Without a doubt, the staff at this hotel exceed my expectations every single visit! Always pleasant, always professional, always helpful. They always find a way to accommodate every business need, no matter how big or small. I only wish I can clone this service at every other hotel I... More

It's a good hotel for a weekend getaway or for a short business trip. They have a modern lobby with a little breakfast and coffee. I won't recommend order breakfast there. You better off with waffle place down the street. $10 for parking overnight. Pool is decent. Room is clean and staff is friendly.

This hotel is in a great location. The hotel is right in Old Town with a wonderful friendly staff. It is just a few short blocks to wonderful restaurants. The staff treats you like family! The bar has a nice selection of local craft beers! The hotel is an older property that could use a refreshing. Stay at the Courtyard... More

Great location, wonderful staff. The hotel is right in Old Town, two short blocks to restaurants. The staff goes above and beyond (e.g. The bar has a selection of local microbrews), but the hotel desperately needs some updating. Rooms are not in good shape.

We have stayed at the pricy Marriott Marquis in the past but wanted a change of scenery for our final day, following a conference. We moved to the Courtyard and really enjoyed Old Town. The hotel is in a super location and is very clean. We found that the first room we were in had a funky smell so we... More

Spent two nights here on daughter's speaking tour. Secure parking garage. Outdoor heated pool. Great conference facility. Love the food venue. Breakfast not free but cooked to order. Great selection. Starbucks Coffee if you are a fan (I'm not). Keurig pots in rooms. Flat tvs. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Went to find granddaughter more Frosted Flakes for breakfast. And... More

Both my husband and I were ill when we stayed at the hotel; we tried to stay away from everyone to avoid passing on our germs. As a result, we didn't use many of the amenities. The maid service was wonderful -- the room was very clean and the maids were very thoughtful about cleaning the room as soon as... More

This is an old hotel that needs some renovation. The rooms are clean and large . It is very convenient to the airport, Balboa park, Gas light and other San Diego attractions. Be sure to ask for even numbered rooms since odd numbered rooms face the freeway and amtrak and the even numbered rooms face in the opposite direction and... More
