Come to find out I never researched this hotel prior to booking (by mistake). I had done all my research on the Holiday Inn by the Bay including their long term parking. After arriving at the hotel we were so rummy after 9 hours in the car, some things did not seem as I remembered reading, but oh well. We... More

The hotel is in a good location and is ok (just getting a bit old now) but neat and tidy and Internet is free. The only disappointment is that they say that breakfast is included in the room rate but only give you $20 credit at the in house restaurant and if you both have a coffee and a juice... More

Nice location - across from small boat harbor and just two miles west of the airport (very convenient if you need to get to the airport early in the morning as I did). The hotel consists of older, two-story buildings with outdoor entrances surrounding the pool area, and a five story tower with inside corridors. I stayed in the tower.... More

We got one of their Amtrak Kidsuites. This room is really small, but the bunk beds for the kids really made them happy. The location is not too noisy despite being close to the airport. They seem to be trying to make this a more upscale property and have lots of activities. Not a whole lot to do close by... More

My daughters stayed here for a early morning flight , since we live pretty far from the airport. And the hotel is great for that. It's close to the airport And other attractions. The hotel was ok but you can tell it's old. If your just looking to be close to everything then this hotel is the place to be.... More

We stayed at Holiday Inn San Diego-Bayside for three nights. Although the hotel was old we had a comfortable, quiet, clean room. The best part of our stay was the breakfasts at the restaurant next door which is associated with the hotel. The food was great and the service was friendly and efficient. One of the best cafes I have... More

My 2 night stay was very comfortable here. It is a good location. I've stayed in the area before at a Courtyard Marriot and also practically next door at a Best Western. This was right in the middle both price wise and value wise. I do believe this will now be the hotel I choose for my San Diego business... More

Stayed here one night for a work trip. The location is easy to find as it's just past the airport as you approach Point Loma. It's also just past the newly developoed Liberty Station area with restaurants and a Starbucks. The check in was easy and as a Platinum member, was upgraded to a huge suite. The views are nice... I got to tag along to this hotel when my husband attended a 5-day training seminar. I was without a car for a couple days, so I really got to check this place out. First off, it is very close to the airport and other San Diego attractions which is nice, but because it is in Point Loma, you get... More
