A business meeting brought me to this hotel. My wife was with me. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, the room was comfortable, and the workout area/gym was one of the best. My daughter and I celebrated her b'day over the weekend here. Our room was upgraded to a bungalow with a pleasant "Happy B'day" and a warm cookie. We used the hotel as our base and couldn't wait to get back to the delightful beds each night. Can't wait to come back! more

The hotel is very outdated from the outside. The main building (lobby entrance) has a few rooms, but otherwise, you're going to have an outside entrance to your hotel room. As you come to expect with business travel one hotel blends in to another. Great Gold course but never had time to play in 8 days (work) 20 mins to downtown San Diego which was a shame but at the time the X-rate was 2:1 so it was cheap. OK food, but eating out was better value. more
