Best price in San Diego for what you get. Awesome location on the beach. Roof top terrace provides panoramic views. Horrible check in. We had to sign in and wait for an hour. 5 clerks were working the desk. We booked online, yet each check in took 10-15 min. Their software most not be as updated as the building. The... More

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting San Diego. It is very close to downtown and all the attractions. Coronado Island is beautiful and we loved it. The hotel is gorgeous. It is very clean and everyone there was so nice. Our room was on the first floor and we stepped out onto the beach. The pool was very... More

We stayed in the beach cottages with our extended family (8 adults, 5 small children). We had adjoining units right on the beach. The cottages were very modern and updated and had plenty of space. Breakfast was included at the Navy Lodge which was right next door. The kids loved being able to wake up and walk right outside to... More

This was our third time staying at the Navy Lodge. It's GREAT...The staff are friendly, pleasant and accommodating. It has a very family friendly atmosphere. The location is absolutely beautiful with a great view of point Loma and Hotel Del. it's like having your own private beach. It's a great place to stay and a heckuva bang for your buck.... More

It is beautiful, absolutely a nice new place. But, wow, someone in upper level management really needs to take a very close look at how this place is being run. I am moving a family of four and a dog overseas back to San Diego. A day before arrival, I called to confirm the reservation and ask when I can... More

We just returned from an 8 night stay at the Navy Lodge -North Island. This location has to be the crown jewel in the Navy Lodge system. Our room was located on the third floor with a view of the ocean toward Point Loma, as well as the playground and park-like area below. It was impeccably clean, had a full... More

We stayed in one of the beach cottages which was very nice! Fairly new, and very clean. The cottage is very nicely laid out with plenty of space and well equipped with pretty much anything you might need during your stay. There is a washer/dryer inside of the cottage; an outside shower and picnic table; and also plenty of grills... More

The beachside location was perfect, beautiful and our room was very clean. Another perk was the complimentary continental breakfast. There is a small shop with a variety of fresh and frozen foods, snacks and toiletries, right outside is a park and pool. Management was very nice and accommodating. The only con is the shower, the water pressure is low, and... More

When I booked our room through the Navy Inn website, I thought I was booking for this beautiful hotel. Instead we ended up in old dorm style rooms in the 1500 series buildings. There are two different Navy lodgings on North Island. If your reservation says to check in at building 1500, do not expect to be in this hotel.... More
