We had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and well decorated. Great shower, large bathroom, great food. It is right in the heart of Old Town San Diego - I would recommend this for anyone. Very clean.

Husband and I escaped the snow and winter darkness to step back into 1800's at Old Town's Cosmopolitan Hotel. Stayed in the Pine Tub room and the bed was very comfy. Beautiful view of the Old Town square and Estudillo museum. Tasty continental breakfast of blueberry scones, coffee, juice, fresh fruit and enjoyed supper chow at in-house restaurant--lamb shank, puff... More

While I've been in San Diego on vacation numerous times, somehow I missed staying at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Old Town. While I was on a business trip this time, this small boutique hotel would be a great place from which to launch trips to Old Town, Balboa Park, the Gas Lamp District, Little Italy, the San Diego Zoo and... I booked this Hotel with a few of my friends and we had an amazing time. The room was comfortable ( we had the Pine Tub Suite). That was probably one of the best baths I have ever taken. It seems as if they had an endless supply of hot water which is awesome if you are like me and... More

I stayed an extra night. Rooms vary and are decorated with old cool stuff, reasturant meal was superb, great people watching from deck, quiet at night. Met a lot of ghost hunter folks whith strange tails.

Staff was terrific. They were helpful and accommodating. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Restaurant had delicious food. Bar was well stocked and the bartender, Caleb, was very knowledgeable. The only drawback was the lack of kleenex in the room and nowhere in the bathroom to set a cosmetics bag. Other than that, this was a fun place to stay. Don't... More

My husband has gig last Saturday at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Old Town, I went outside to take pictures of the Hotel. I took two shots when I went inside to see the pictures a guy wearing Cowboy outfit or trench coat appear on my 2nd shots and he was not there before.

I absolutely love this place!! It was spotlessly clean! The beautiful tub and sink sparkled! I'm definitely coming back! Thank you for the great experience! I was visiting for New Years Eve and they had a lovely Forties band and a special event for those who purchased tickets. Well Happy New Year 2016!

We enjoyyed a very quiet 3 nights in the historically furnished "Cauldron Suite" that presented a serene sense of privacy. The "cauldron" apparently is the enormous historic copper bathtub in the bathroom which had a separate modern shower stall. The brief horn of the occasional train passing during the nights about one block distant did barely penetrate the quiet in... More

Stayed in the Seeley suite and it was a little spooky! We loved the hotel and the old town area. Had a great day there and really loved the staff. But we did get a little "vibe" from the room! It was a fun stay!
