We had a wonderful time at The Cosmopolitan Hotel. The staff was very pleasant, the hotel room no. 4 was spacious and very commfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay there again. There are lots of nice little shops and good restaurants all centrally located.

June 27, 2014. We loved our stay at the Cosmopolitan. The location is central. We were even able to see the fire works from Sea World off the balcony. The staff is wonderful. Very friendly and willing to help. Everyone jumps in and we were surprised at the willingness to crossover and do things that weren't necessarily in their job... More

My husband and I live about thirties minutes from old town, took him to this hotel for his birthday. Loved the experience. All the furniture was from the 1800's and room number 7 that we stayed in has a huge copper tub. The room was super clean and bed slept great. We could even see the fire works from Sea... More

The rooms were gorgeous and spotless! As mentioned before, this hotel is wonderful for relaxing and having an excellent dinner in the on-site restaurant. You have to keep in mind that the hotel is part of the state park so the staff leaves in the evening and doesn't reappear until 9 am the next day. We did not have any... More

The Cosmopolitan Hotel and restaurant in Old Town San Diego. We live a few miles north but staying in this hotel was a relaxing, historically rich location that feels far away. The location is perfect in the heart of Old Town State Park, the rooms are decorated in the 1800's period. In spite of the nearby freeways, it is amazingly... More

This hotel is in San Diego Old Town - a State Historic Park. It is a beautiful, historic building, and the rooms are decorated in 19th century style - we felt like we had walked into the 1800s! Breakfast (scones, marmalade and coffee) is served on the balcony outside the bedroom. There are no mod-cons, but if you want a... More

Neat Hotel. Give you an appreciate for how people lived back then. You definitely have to check out the picture of Bandini...his eyes follow you as you walk across the room. They have very friendly staff too.

We selected the hotel for the location and uniqueness. It is a historic building and also in a State Park. We had three rooms, each was decorated differently. They were very clean and in really good condition. I was impressed with the condition of the rooms , plumbing and electrical . The staff was really friendly. I wish I got... More

Old Town San Diego landmark - great location if you want to go out at night there. Rooms look like a Disney version of Lincoln's bedroom - the styles are right but obvious cheap imitations. Would have been an easy "above average" rating but the guy checking us in was simultaneously seating people at the restaurant and it took 40... More
