I was actually looking forward to stay at this hotel because of its history and my passion of experiencing hotels like that. I could not be more disappointed with Cosmopolitan! First of all the room has an awful musty smell that hits you right then you walk in. It's was so bad I was waking up during the night because... More

Only 10 rooms, but all furnished in early California style, early 1700 style nice outdoor seating and continental breakfast every morning,Great area to have Mexican food and drinks, the one i like best is Cafe Coyote & Cantina in Historic Old Town San Diego.

Cozy rooms. A great deal when AAA discounts, free parking, dinner and drink coupons, and complimentary continental breakfast are added in. Visit San Diego attractions in the day, then return for dinner, drinks, and a relaxing evening. When you stay here, you are getting more than an historic room - it is really an excellent value package.

Never felt more at home when not at home! The staff are very welcoming and accommodating; they truly value you choosing their hotel. Authentic older building, near transportation, and we could watch the fireworks at Sea World from our balcony chairs. Lots of fantastic things to see in the surrounding Old Town area.

What an amazing hotel with great service. The breakfast was delicious. Rooms are charming. Sitting on the balcony is so relaxing and being in the middle of old town is so great. The restaurant and bar have superb service and delicious food. The only reason I cant give five starts is the very limited parking. Although there is a designated... More

Cosmopolitan Hotel, Old Town, San Diego, CA. We stayed three days and had room 1. I love old hotels, and this one is old and very charming. There are train whistles and traffic noise (frankly all of San Diego is noisy). The traffic noise is like continuous whoosh, it is not far from where I-5, I-8 and the Pacific Highway... More

Just a lovely historic hotel with only 10 rooms nestled in the historic, state run Old Town Park. We were warmly greeted by Dee, the manager and treated like honored long time guests . He even took some time to show us around the facility and some other rooms. Each room is uniquely different and true to the mud 1800's,... More

We weren't quite sure what to expect when we made the reservation- could be charming, or could be just too corny with the time flashback. We had nothing to worry about- a completely delightful experience. We have our own summer home in upstate NY from the mid 19th century ourselves so we felt completely at home in the setting- but... Went for anniversary we had a nice dinner and a grew evening in our room. Loved the bath tub. Pretty place. Only down side was there was an event going on at hotel night we stayed, we were told about when we booked anniversary weekend. This was quite noisy.
