Stayed here the last week of June with my 15 year old Grandson on an Intergenerational Road Scholar Program. The room was comfortable clean. Food was very good. Staff at the front desk were helpful. Since the program saw to our transportation each day I cannot speak to that access but there were shops nearby within walking distance.

We enjoyed this Marriott. We arrived after a day at the zoo (very easy to get to). After a long flight and a fun day we stayed local and went to a nearby shopping center for dinner. So many options. The hotel had complimentary fruit infused water pitchers that were perfect to refresh us thirsty travelers. The view isn't great... More

Checked in 6/27/15 had a room on the 7th floor away from the freeway. Lobby was nice and clean. I liked that they had a Starbucks on site. The room was very clean felt like it had been updated. When I opened the door I got a new carpet smell so I think the rooms have gone through renovations. Bed... More

The hotel is nice and large like a resort but very pricey. San Diego is not a cheap place to stay or play. The restaurant was nice and good fish tacos for a hotel. Many eating places within walking distance as well. One of the nicer Marriott hotels I. Have stayed.

Stayed at this hotel for four nights on a business trip. The rooms need to be remodeled the one I was in actually had plaster on the ceiling from what looked to be a water leak needless to say I slept in the other bed. In the room had a musky smell when I entered and it took several hours... More

This is a nice spot to stay and a central place to lots in san diego. 2 blocks to little italy and 10 mins from zoo and museums. Only negatives is the snacks and wine are only mon, tues, and weds and ends at 730. This means if u stay until the zoo or legoland closes youll miss out. The... More

We visited over memorial day weekend for a basketball tournament. Everything was very nice. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The service was good. The lobby area was very large. Since we had a large group it was nice to have somewhere central to meet. Only downside was that we were not allowed to order any food for our group... More

We stay here to go to the Zoo that was about 4 miles away. I feel this Hotel was a bit pricey. PRO'S- Hot spa, large lobby, good breakfast, clean rooms. CON'S- Parking fee, weak drinks at bar, over priced, under construction.

My stay was uneventful, with excellent service, and large Lobby, that makes you feel as if you were one of the few guests in the property. This Courtyard is indeed a very relaxing and comfortable property to stay at, forget about the noise of downtown and just focus on taking care of your stuff , your own way. i value... More

It's exactly what you'd expect if you've ever stayed at a Courtyard. It's a little bit below a bigger Marriot and the parking is still expensive, but less than their bigger counterpart. The lobby area is nice, the rooms are nicely furnished, clean and comfortable. The views aren't the greatest since it's adjacent to the freeway and other commercial buidlings.... More
