I really enjoyed staying here and my room was amazing. Only downfall is club scene on Thursday through Saturday night. Lots of base, but still great value and great room. I stayed there while touring with cast of wicked and we all enjoyed the stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights December 2010. We were attending a conference at the convention center. Location was nice. It is in the middle of the Gaslamp area with a Starbucks right under the hotel. Perfect to grab a cup before walking to the convention center only about 8 blocks away. It was a reasonable price. The room was... More

I stayed with my parents for 10 days in the month of August. Location is incredible, in the heart of Gaslamp. The man that stays in the reception is very rude. We stayed in the room 403 and housekeeping is lousy, without attention to detail. Rooms are very dusty. I had to give a good clean myself before I felt... More

Wife and I rented an apartment here for a weekend in June with another couple. It was a nice and very quaint converted hotel apartment. It was spacious, fully furnished with kitchen and very nice for and older place. With a full kitchen and living room we prepared food and drinks to have 3rd couple over before going out in... More

The hotel is in the heart of the gaslamp quarter and the room was nice (could have used a paint touchup), but over all nice. The only issue I had was around midnight we hear the door open and it's the guy from the front desk. When confronted all he could say was "I thought you had gone out for... More

Pros: Close to good restaurants, convention center, spacious Cons: No one at the front desk most of the time--phone number left to call them, so bring your cell phone, key to get into lobby during evening hours (no one is there at all then & several homeless people lurking around the Starbucks next door scary for 2 women, dirty-toilet with... I always thought I would do a positive review on this places due to multiple stays and my brother renting out a whole floor for his wedding but this last stay has put a BAD taste in my mouth! I will never stay at that so called hotel again! BEWARE!!!!!! This can not be a meeting place before heading out... More

Good location, nice size rooms, good price, but very dirty. Did not want to walk on floor without shoes, walls we're filthy, toilet seat had not been cleaned at all. Had to go out and buy cleaning supplies to feel somewhat comfortable.

I was there for 3 days and only saw a "hotel" employee when I checked in. This was like renting a 1-bdr condo apartment in the middle of the gaslamp district's most-hopping bars,, with no restaurant, bar, room service, maid's service or anyone monitoring the lobby. That was fine for me, since I was traveling alone and don't really worry... More

The location is central to everything in the gaslight. Suites are large with everything you need. could use some updating, carpets were all stained. It can be very loud on the weekend. There is an "open roof" night club next door that went until around 2AM and even with the windows closed it was quite loud. No one manning the... More
