My wife & I started our 'California 2014' road trip with a return to San Diego. Our last visit was very fleeting & our accommodation was sub-standard, not this time. The Hotel Indigo Gaslamp Quarter is well positioned for both bars/restaurants & the harbour. Our room was spacious & had all the amenities you need, free Wi-fi, safe, coffee maker... More

We were looking for a convenient location next to the Gas Lamp District and a modern hotel and were not disappointed. There were restaurants and bars within a block and the Gas Lamp area is a very short 5 block walk. Although there are vagrants throughout San Diego, we felt safe walking at night. Valet parking is pricey, but prompt.... More

We loved the Indigo! Very centrally located, cool rooms. Valet is outstanding, even though expensive. We were recognised as IHG Golden Ambassadors and instantly upgraded to a higher room category on the top floor. Nice. The only little downturn was that they seem to be short of room amenities. No slippers, a coffee machine, but no sugar and 1 shampoo... More

We spent two nights in a Parlor Suite to finish our holiday in California. It was a fantastic room, but we had several issues with service in the hotel that served to dampen our experience. 1) Check-in took around 30 minutes, which in my opinion was far too long - there weren't that many people in the queue! 2) Our... Were lucky that we got a room at Indigo for the Independence Day weekend. It's a fancy city hotel which is more personal than the usual business hotels and still not old fashioned luxury ones. Service is nice, parking is $42 per day, just valet avaiable. Rooms are very nice and modern with a great view. Would go there again,... More

In 28 years of marriage my husband & I have never slept in anything but a king-sized bed. I requested one; the receptionist didn't tell us there were none available-we called down when we arrived in the room and were nicely told 'oh, sorry'. That was it. Otherwise nice place, fast elevators, smaller rooms & closet, no fridge, very little... More

On a recent business trip, I had the pleasure of an extra night in San Diego; I booked this property online and had a GREAT experience. Staff was super-friendly, very competitive rate, and the property was STELLAR! Unlike many of the Indigo properties, this was newly built as a Hotel Indigo. That makes a difference in the fact that the... More

am so disappointed with your hotel. I stayed at this hotel along with my mother and father on August 1, 2014. We were going on a fishing trip out of San Diego and my father drove his truck ( Silverado 2500 extended cab) to accommodate all of our fishing gear. Upon arrival and seeing that the truck would need to... More

Really liked this property, a nice surprise. Comfortable bed and very clean and nicely decorated room and 10 to 15 minute walk to 5th Ave and steps to the ballpark... Really helpful and pleasant staff... nice lobby bar, the rooftop bar doesn't open until 5 and there isn't much of a view but it is comfortable... noticed a lot of... More

This is a beautiful hotel with very helpful and friendly service. The room had a great veiw of petco park. The hotel and room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the decor and had a modern feel to it. The roof top bar is a nice feature.
