probably the hotel with the best value and all round service, great room with fridge and microwave....all the facilities of a 5* hotel but there's more -- free parking as well--- even on the day I checked out...these guys are hard to beat. The locality is a bit rundown, but who cares, it's the inside that counts...and it's great. Staff... More

I am not sure what happened in the room they showed us but it was so gross and the stench was so bad we walked out. We tried to get an immediate refund but they would not give us one even though the room was so smoky. They advertise non-smoking rooms and the lobby has it posted but they do... More

The rooms were ok-you get what you pay for. But the bathroom was gross, had mold everywhere. It's worth it to spend a little more for a better place. Desk clerk barely spoke English. Many homeless people around the area.

Great budget motel. We stayed for one night and just wanted somewhere close to a gig we were seeing at the House of Blues. It was walking distance, we felt safe walking home at night. There is free parking. I think we paid about $70USD. The room was upstairs, with one window facing the road and the other facing the... More

I stayed there alone and it was not pleasant. Although the people tried to be nice even the homeless people outside, I did not feel safe. The room was load the comforter had disgusting blood stains and if you turned on the airco it smelled horrible. This is a warning for woman staying alone do not go here! Even the... More

I never write reviews but felt like I need to after staying at this displaceable hotel first of all I don't classify this 'Downtown Lodge' a lodge or a hotel not even a motel this place is a complete and utter dump. Motel 6 looks like the Taj Mahal in comparison to this 'Downtown Lodge' I would not stay here... More

The bathroom appeared to have mold, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and maintains a steady hobo population behind the hotel who migrate to the sidewalk in front of the hotel during the day. Not worth the money.

My brother and I booked this hotel for a one night stay for concert. When we got there we went to the room and pulled down the covers (as I do in all hotel rooms). We were shocked and disgusted to find a USED condom in the bed. We quickly packed up our things and headed to the front desk.... More

This hotel is run down. Rooms are VERY small. The downtowns homeless camp is directly behind the hotel on the same lot. Which our window faced. They charge way to much for this hotel! Parking is only free if the eight spaces aren't full when you get back and if you can't find street parking there is a lot right... More

The hotel has a good location, not far from city center, you can even walk up to the US Midway if you like walking. Bedroom is ok, simple and clean. The value price is good. No breakfast at all, not even coffee. A little bit noisy and really close to the road.
