Great budget motel. We stayed for one night and just wanted somewhere close to a gig we were seeing at the House of Blues. It was walking distance, we felt safe walking home at night. There is free parking. I think we paid about $70USD. The room was upstairs, with one window facing the road and the other facing the... More

I stayed there alone and it was not pleasant. Although the people tried to be nice even the homeless people outside, I did not feel safe. The room was load the comforter had disgusting blood stains and if you turned on the airco it smelled horrible. This is a warning for woman staying alone do not go here! Even the... More

I never write reviews but felt like I need to after staying at this displaceable hotel first of all I don't classify this 'Downtown Lodge' a lodge or a hotel not even a motel this place is a complete and utter dump. Motel 6 looks like the Taj Mahal in comparison to this 'Downtown Lodge' I would not stay here... More

The bathroom appeared to have mold, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and maintains a steady hobo population behind the hotel who migrate to the sidewalk in front of the hotel during the day. Not worth the money.

My brother and I booked this hotel for a one night stay for concert. When we got there we went to the room and pulled down the covers (as I do in all hotel rooms). We were shocked and disgusted to find a USED condom in the bed. We quickly packed up our things and headed to the front desk.... More

This hotel is run down. Rooms are VERY small. The downtowns homeless camp is directly behind the hotel on the same lot. Which our window faced. They charge way to much for this hotel! Parking is only free if the eight spaces aren't full when you get back and if you can't find street parking there is a lot right... More

The hotel has a good location, not far from city center, you can even walk up to the US Midway if you like walking. Bedroom is ok, simple and clean. The value price is good. No breakfast at all, not even coffee. A little bit noisy and really close to the road.

Clean rooms, professional staff and good location! It's about a 5 min. walk to City College station. I was only here for one night and enjoyed my stay. The room was very clean and cozy. Highly recommend!

We stayed here one night to catch a Padres game. We got in early and our room wasn't ready so the man asked us to come back at 3. We did and our room was ready. The area isn't the best but we walked around after drinking all day and all night and we had no problems. Parking was free... More
