I looked at all the reviews only AFTER my stay, because I hadn't booked a place before reaching San Diego at 8pm and went hostel hunting around Little Italy for a place to stay the night. I found Harborview Inn & Suites and liked it so much that I eventually extended my stay for 2 more nights. So I'm quite... More

with the exception of the location the hotel experience was terrible, it is very noisy. Planes are fying just above and the side street leads to the freeway, in adition we had a very noisy group of people in the adjacent room drinking and talking loudly. I stayed two nights and could not sleap at all. I had to move... More

Our family was on our way to San Diego on a road trip. Instead of stopping along the way, we decided to drive all the way down last minute. After being in the car for 10 hours with two young children we found out that our original hotel the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay was completely booked that night. I tried... More

I made a reservation online on 29 June for arriving 1 July and didn't see where they had the cancellation policy saying you had to call 3 days prior to cancel. First of all that is along time prior to have to cancel. Life happens and things change. Lila took my number and was going to call me back. She... More

Please be sure to read our 3 day cancellation policy when making a reservation online. When making a reservation over the phone we always make sure the guest understands our 3 day cancellation policy before the end of the phone call. We like to avoid confrontations that can arise from a lack of understanding about our cancellation policy. More

We booked this hotel through Hotwire. There are only two positive things about the hotel. One is the location, couldn't complain about that other than the street was very noisy and the planes fly directly overhead (and I mean to the point where you feel they are going to land on your room) until well after midnight. Other than that,... More

After reading the terrible reviews for this hotel, I wasn't expecting much in the way of accommodations; but I just needed a conveniently located place to stay for one night....so I took a chance. It greatly exceeded my expectations! The regular rooms are quite small, but adequate; and, since 3 of us were traveling together, we were given adjoining rooms.... More

TERRIBLE!!!!!!! do not stay. We paid for one night and as soon as we got to the room we went to the front desk to check out. The room smelled. It was dirty, and there were stains on the comforter. They use a gotcha type business mentality. She pointed to a small sign behind her that stated "NO REFUNDS". I... More

Free parking (good). Checked into the hotel - was not asked for ID or credit card for incidentals (didn't realize at that time that there were NO incidentals). I believe we had the best room in the house. Back side of hotel is some kind of weekly/monthly rental property - pretty seedy guests hanging around smoking on steps. Opened door... More

This hotel was comparable to any Super 8/ Econo Lodge I have patroned. The room was actually quite large with a fridge/microwave/t.v. and internet. The room itself was clean and basic and the bathroom clean. No evidence of cockroaches as previous reviews stated. My only recommendation would be to invest in better pillows/towels. They were very flat. The staff was... More
