My wife and I stayed at the Half Moon Inn for two nights, and we were very fortunate to have received the complimentary upgrade to a Marina-View Suite. We had a wonderful, very relaxing view of the Marina, as well as being provided with a very spacious suite. The suite had a king-size bed, plenty of closet space, a kitchenette... more

We stayed 4 nights with two boys, 8 and 10 years old. We had a very nice stay. The rooms, were large enough, large barthroom, granite countertops and shower. The beds were more the size of doubles, rather than queen size. The pool was great, they enjoyed the ping pong tables. We rented a car, and found everything nearby. The free... more

We stayed here a couple of weeks ago and had a 2 double bed oversize suite booked. We had a full kitchen and a seperate bedroom area which could be closed off from the living area by a sliding door. This was ideal for us with a young family our 3 year old son and 9 month old daughter could... more

Thank you for your recent stay at Humphrey’s. We appreciate and welcome all feedback. I would like to note that our parking fee is $10, not $15 as the guest stated. Parking is at a premium in most tourist cities, especially along the water and our hotel is located on the San Diego Bay. We do not include parking in...

Rooms were slightly dated in their decorations but clean and comfortable and our room had a poolside patio. The pool was large and there was ping-pong and mini golf. The restaurant and bar were at one end of the spread out property. As a music venue (open air in summer) it could not be described as quiet. Its location by the yacht... more

We spent last week at Humphrey's and loved every second of our stay. The staff were great, and the view from our room(442), over the marina was a joy. Great food at the restaurant, great live music in the bar and you're only a short taxi ride away from most places that you want to go. We loved it! Now,... more

Humphrey's has got to be the best kept secret in San Diego. Nicely updated - clean rooms. You feel as if you are in Hawaii - the grounds are beautiful. Great live entertainment every night. The restaurant has fantastic food and a beautiful view although I don't think the weitress really wanted to be working. We will defiantly go back!! more

We have stayed here so many times it is hard to count back that far. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are well manicured and kepted up. We had a great rate that we took full advatage of. The front desk people are always nice and we always seem to extend our stay. My only complaint are the... more

My second stay at Humphrey's. 1st was business, was so impressed I brought my wife for our anniversary. A really beautiful location, with 1st class service and assistance. Donna Frey handled all our needs- car, tickets, reservations, schedules, and driving directions for restaurants and events. An anniversary we won't forget. more

I thought everyone in San Diego was super nice and friendly, until I met Melissa at the front desk of this hotel! We were initially trying to decide between this hotel and a beautiful 4 star hotel downtown where public transportation is easier. I called Humphrey's and asked how guests can get around from the hotel and was told that... more

I would like to start by sincerely apologizing to this guest. This review is in no way indicative of our staff or the level of service Humphrey's provides for our guests. Obviously we did not do our best in this situation and there is no excuse for such behavior. I take pride in making our guests happy and I expect...

We stayed here for a three day weekend, and upon leaving, wished that we could stay for another week. We booked the largest suite, as we had six in our party. There was plenty of room, and the kitchenette worked great for morning breakfasts. The view of the harbor was awesome. The courtyard flora absolutely awesome - just like being... more
