Stayed in a junior suite which was roomy. There's a mini-fridge, a microwave, coffeemaker and two TVs. The bed is kind of separated from the sitting area. The only thing was the balcony's view was partially blocked by a palm tree. The bartenders in the lounge were very nice and friendly. There was music on the two nights we were... more

I'm sitting here listening to a band playing Stones and disco covers. It's 10 p.m. Tuesday night. I have an 8 a.m. meeting tomorrow. This is a poor place to stay if you are in the area for work. Probably rocks if you want to party. Sucks if you need your sleep. This insult added to extra charges for internet... more

We stayed in Room 108 of this hotel for one night on Saturday, May 23rd. The staff all seemed to have their noses in the air, like badly trained employees at a very posh hotel (which of course, expect their people to be gracious and accommodating to guests). The "Ritz" attitude was terribly at odds with the level of service... more

I am truly sorry that this guest did not have an enjoyable experience during their stay. Upon several inspections this room DOES NOT have carpet mites. Our hotel is on the water and where there is water there is bound to be insects once in a while. Since the guest did not inform us as soon as she noticed these...

The mixed reviews made me a bit nervous but we had a great time! Beautiful grounds - great pool - good location and staff was wonderful. You really could not ask for more for some R&R. (we did request an updated room - which we got - it was very nice!) The weather was not the greatest but we really... more

I visit San Diego regularly on business but have never found a place that I'm crazy about so when I saw this hotel on Trip Advisor, I thought I'd give it a try. My first impression was pretty kitschy, but despite the tikis and abundance of bamboo, it's comfortable and the grounds are beautiful: lovely garden environment and a great... more

I stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and one year old baby. The location of the hotel is in a very nice boating/yachting community with several great restaurants (we ate at Brigante) within walking distance. Also, the hotel is maybe 15 minutes from the airport and very easy to find. We arrived for check-in early and just... more

Although our room faced a parking lot (hidden by a small fenced patio), we had gotten such a great price on the room that I truthfully didn't expect the room to be of such high quality. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable, it was immaculate and nicely decorated. Furthermore, the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. I called 3... more

Our stay was amazing! We were in bldg M on the lower floor. When you open the door to your patio the water is about 15 feet away. The rooms are very nice and we could not hear any noise from people around us. We are planning another trip just so we can stay there!!!! WOW!!!! more

We (2ad, 2 ch) had here a two nights stay coming from Grand Canyon. GrandCanyon to SanDiego in one day is doable – we had the helicopter tour at 10:45 and at ~12:00 left to SanDiego passing Sedona and I8, arriving at the hotel before 21:00 with 3 stops. The crossing of Sedona and the adjoining Oak Creek was extremely... more

The grounds are really nice, but my problem was the noise. At around 2 am, there were people outside talking REALLY LOUD and it went on for about an hour.... I could also hear the people upstairs moving around. When we checked out our room, we found spiders on towels and on the bed... good thing I checked first before... more
